We have a live web application that pulls job postings via an API, uses an AI model to rewrite the descriptions, and displays them to users. Our previous developer built the frontend via AI, but is withholding the source code and refusing to cooperate (oddly a longtime friend who did this for free and refuses payment - he wants to focus on other personal projects and come back to this in 3 months - we can't wait on that). We need a full-stack developer to build a clean, SEO-optimized frontend from scratch on our own hosting (you can use the current existing site layout which just went live), reconnect our job board API and AI rewriting logic, and implement proper JobPosting JSON-LD schema so Google indexes our jobs correctly. The url is Merkergroup.com. I can share backend via screenshare, so you can see the semiautomatic job posting process. It also pulls in attorneys from a 3rd party product that help identify the right attorneys for us to reach out to for a role (we are legal recruiters). The site also is up (but we have no interface to make changes). We need the ability to easily view the attorneys and ultimately build automation so that when a new job comes in via API, we can automatically send a custom AI generated email message selling the correct attorneys on the job. I can explain further on a call. Preference is for project based pricing - but keeping this open ended for now.

Web Developer Needed: Simple Migration from Square to Self-Hosted WordPress Project Overview: I am looking for an experienced developer to help me "break free" from Square. Currently, my herbalist website is tethered to a main Square account I no longer use, and I need to move it to a completely independent, self-hosted WordPress site that I own and control. This is a one-time project to set up the new site and move my existing content (a small number of products and one blog post). Once the site is live, I am potentially open to discussing ongoing monthly marketing strategies, but my immediate priority is the successful migration and setup of the new site. Scope of Work: Platform Setup: Set up a clean, independent WordPress site using a budget-friendly hosting provider. I am looking for your recommendation for a reliable, low-cost host. Content Migration: Manually move my products and my one blog post from the old site to the new one. Domain: Guide me through the process of pointing my existing custom domain away from Square and to the new host. Total Independence: Ensure the new site is completely disconnected from any previous Square accounts so it cannot be "hijacked" or funneled through other accounts. SEO Foundation: Ensure the site is set up correctly for basic SEO so I can grow my traffic over time. Requirements & Budget: Budget-First Mindset: I am a small business owner. I am looking for a setup that keeps monthly overhead extremely low (standard shared hosting + free WordPress/WooCommerce). Please do not propose expensive "managed" enterprise-level plans. Communication: I need someone who can explain technical steps clearly so I can manage the site myself afterward. Experience: Please provide examples of previous website work. Potential for Future Work: While this is a one-time migration job, I am open to hiring someone for ongoing monthly marketing strategy if the migration goes well and we are a good fit. To Apply: Please answer the following: Have you performed migrations from Square to WordPress before? What is your recommended approach for keeping hosting costs low for a small business? What is your estimated timeline for a migration of this size (a small shop with one blog post)?

We run a fantasy football content site and want to add a daily fantasy sports (DFS) lineup optimizer tool — similar in function to dailyfantasyoptimizer.com — that lets users upload player pools/projections and generate optimal DraftKings (and ideally FanDuel) lineups. Core features needed: - Linear programming / optimization engine to generate optimal lineups under salary cap constraints (standard knapsack-style DFS optimization) - CSV upload for player salaries + projections (matching DraftKings/FanDuel export format) - Support for player exposure limits (max % of lineups a player appears in) - Stacking rules (e.g., QB + WR from same team, game stacks) - Bulk lineup generation (50-150 unique lineups per run) - Export lineups in DraftKings-compatible CSV format for direct upload - Clean, simple single-page UI — no manual required to use it - Start with NFL support (single sport is fine for v1; architecture should allow adding NBA/MLB later) Nice to have (not required for v1): - Editable/custom projections per player - Basic backtesting against historical slates - Player pool filtering (by position, salary, team) What we need from you: - Experience building optimization tools (linear/integer programming — PuLP, OR-Tools, or similar) - Familiarity with DFS site formats (DraftKings/FanDuel) is a strong plus - Ability to deliver a working, deployable web app (front end + backend), not just a script - Clear communication and milestone-based delivery Please include in your proposal: relevant past projects (optimization tools, sports betting/DFS tools, or similar), your suggested tech stack, and a rough timeline/cost estimate for a v1 NFL-only version.
