Website & Customer Journey Strategist for Established Sailing Travel Business I'm looking for an experienced website and customer journey strategist to help evaluate and improve how prospective guests experience Joyride Charters—from their first visit to my website through the inquiry and booking process. I'm not looking for a website redesign or a high-pressure sales funnel. My goal is to simplify the customer journey, improve the booking experience, and strengthen the systems behind the scenes while preserving the authentic, relationship-driven nature of my business. Joyride Charters offers private sailing charters on Long Island Sound in Connecticut, along with hosted international sailing vacations in destinations such as Greece, Croatia, the British Virgin Islands, and other locations. My guests are primarily adults 50+, solo travelers, couples, and small groups seeking premium, highly personal travel experiences. I have a professional Wix website, strong photography, established trip pages, excellent reviews, active social media channels, and an email list of approximately 1,000 subscribers. I am not looking for someone to rewrite my entire website, take over my social media, or create an aggressive sales funnel. I am looking for someone who can objectively evaluate how visitors experience the site, identify what is confusing or getting in the way of inquiries, and help improve the structure, navigation, booking path, and overall customer journey. My business is built on trust and personal relationships. Many guests book because they feel they know me and understand the experience before we ever meet. Any recommendations must preserve that warmth and authenticity. Project Scope The first phase would be a paid website and customer journey audit, followed by practical recommendations and, ideally, implementation of the highest-priority improvements. Website & Customer Journey Audit Please review and evaluate: Homepage clarity and positioning Website navigation and organization Separation between Connecticut charters and international sailing trips Visitor flow from social media, Google, email, and referrals Calls to action Inquiry and booking process Trust-building elements Reviews and testimonials Use and placement of photos and video Mobile experience Internal links Forms and lead capture Follow-up after an inquiry Basic SEO and conversion issues Analytics and tracking The audit should identify: Where visitors may become confused Where they may leave without taking action What information is missing What information is difficult to find Which pages or sections are working well Which changes would have the greatest impact on qualified inquiries and bookings I am not looking for a generic report or a long list of marketing ideas. I want practical recommendations tied to the actual customer experience. Recommendations should be prioritized as: High impact and low effort High impact and higher effort Longer-term opportunities Items that are not worth changing Website Improvements Depending on your experience and recommendations, the next phase may include implementation of selected improvements such as: Improving navigation Reorganizing the homepage Clarifying the difference between local and international offerings Improving calls to action Streamlining the inquiry and booking path Improving the placement of reviews, testimonials, FAQs, and videos Creating clearer paths for solo travelers, couples, and returning guests Improving forms and follow-up Adding or refining email automation Setting up basic lead tracking Improving analytics and conversion tracking I do not need the Croatia trip page rewritten. The existing destination pages contain important detail and reflect my voice. I am open to recommendations about organization, layout, navigation, and presentation, but I do not want the site stripped down to the point where important information is lost. Video I am interested in using educational video to answer common questions such as: What is it really like to stay on a catamaran for a week? What do the cabins and bathrooms look like? What is a typical day like? How much sailing is involved? What is the group dynamic? Is this type of trip right for a solo traveler or first-time sailor? I am not looking for generic promotional videos or highly polished commercials. Experience helping a founder create natural, useful videos is a plus. Please explain whether you provide scripting, interview questions, coaching, filming direction, editing, or videographer recommendations, and what costs would fall outside the initial project. What I Already Have Established business and paying guests Professional Wix website Strong destination and sailing photography International trip pages Connecticut charter pages Facebook and Instagram presence Google Business Profile Email list of approximately 1,000 subscribers Guest reviews and testimonials Google Analytics and Google Search Console Existing inquiry and booking process What I Am Looking For I am looking for someone who understands premium, relationship-driven businesses and can balance conversion improvements with a personal guest experience. You should be able to explain not only what you recommend changing, but why you believe it will improve the customer journey. I prefer someone who can both provide strategy and help implement the most important changes. Please be clear about which parts of your work include: Audit and strategy Copy recommendations Design or page layout Wix implementation Forms and automation CRM or lead tracking Analytics setup Video direction Work completed by you Work outsourced to another person Additional costs beyond the initial project Please Include in Your Proposal Examples of websites or customer journeys you have improved for travel, hospitality, luxury services, retreats, tours, or other high-ticket businesses. One example of a project where you improved inquiries, bookings, or conversions. Please include measurable results when possible. Your experience working with Wix. One specific issue or opportunity you noticed after reviewing the Joyride Charters website. What you believe should be reviewed or changed first. What would actually be completed and functioning at the end of the first 30 days. Which parts of the work you personally perform and which parts require another contractor. How you would preserve the personal, trust-based nature of Joyride while improving the booking journey. Your proposed price for: The website and customer journey audit Implementation of the highest-priority recommendations Any additional costs I should anticipate for video, design, technical setup, automation, or other services. Project Structure I would like to begin with a defined paid audit and improvement phase rather than commit immediately to a long-term engagement. If the first phase goes well, there may be ongoing work implementing and refining the website, customer journey, email follow-up, and marketing systems. I am looking for thoughtful, practical recommendations and hands-on improvements—not a complete rebrand, a generic template, or an overly automated sales process.

1 · Project snapshot Company: LTR Advisory LLC — Shannon C. Midthun, author & founder. The site: ltradvisory.com — companion site for the book “Like. Trust. Respect.™ — The Business Development Playbook for Professional Services,” plus LTR Advisory consulting. Platform: Webflow. Project “Like Trust Respect,” Basic plan. Editor: like-trust-respect.design.webflow.com. Domain ltradvisory.com is already connected and published. Current state: ~80% built (started from an AI generator, since refined) — but it does NOT yet read as a premium professional-services site, and there are layout bugs (see punch list). Needs a professional polish, or a redesign to the standard below. Launch date: September 1, 2026 — must be polished and live by then. Audience: Experienced, credentialed professional-services practitioners — management consultants, accountants, attorneys, engineers, architects, financial/wealth advisors, and firm partners. Sophisticated, time-pressed, wary of anything “salesy.” Goal: Establish Shannon as a credible authority, sell the book, and capture consulting leads. 2 · The look we want (most important — the current site misses this) The site must read like a top-tier advisory / boutique-consulting / law-firm brand: credible, understated, and premium. NOT a generic startup/SaaS template, not playful, not busy. Quiet confidence — the kind of site a senior partner would trust. The book cover is the north star for color and type. Do: ● Palette: deep navy #1F3864 + warm cream / off-white. Generous whitespace. High contrast, restrained. ● Typography: refined SERIF headlines (executive, like a distinguished business-book cover) + a clean sans-serif body. ● Imagery: real and tasteful — the book cover, the author headshot, subtle editorial/abstract accents. Everything sharp and correctly cropped. ● Layout: clean grid, consistent spacing, ample margins, an unhurried, editorial feel. Avoid: ● Stock clichés (handshakes, ladders, generic office crowds). ● Cut-off / poorly-cropped images, clipped text, and inconsistent spacing (all present now). ● Playful, techy, or high-saturation “startup” styling.

We’re looking for a senior freelance UX/UI designer to turn detailed creative briefs into polished, on-brand design deliverables. What you'll do: design new landing pages and CMS-template layouts, redesign existing pages, and create one-off assets, while always matching an existing client brand system accurately, not starting from scratch each time. Experience working across multiple clients and maintaining consistency across projects is important. Must haves: a strong portfolio of B2B/SaaS marketing design work, ability to work from a detailed brief independently, fast turnaround on iterations, Figma experience, comfort designing for CMS/templated reuse (not just one-off static comps). Turnaround Time: We'd like to be able to deliver Figma files for client review with 24-48 hours. Please add a note about your expected turnaround time at the top of your cover letter application if this timing is possible with your schedule.

Who we are MESSY is a premium ranch brand — think Liquid Death or Graza energy, but for the most-loved condiment in America. Bold, a little polarizing, unapologetically fun. No seed oils, no gums, all flavor. We're pre-launch, DTC-first, and building a brand people screenshot, not scroll past. Royal blue hero bottle, loud voice, culture-forward. The task / what we need delivered We're building out MESSY's brand system and need a designer (or small team) to take it from strong-start to fully locked. Depending on your strengths, the scope covers some or all of: Wordmark + logo refinement and a locked identity system (color, type, logo usage) Packaging / label design across our core SKUs (Original, Spicy Buffalo, Garlic Parm) + the travel mini A brand guidelines doc we can hand to future collaborators Shopify website development and homepage Social + paid-ad templates that hold up to the "what does messy mean to you" style we're going for We'll align on exact deliverables and milestones before anyone commits — I'd rather over-define scope up front than have surprises later. Skills we're looking for Strong CPG or consumer brand identity work (packaging experience is a big plus), a portfolio that shows range and a point of view, and comfort designing for a brand that's intentionally loud. Bonus if you've worked with DTC food/beverage brands or know your way around retail shelf presence. How we like to work I'm a fast, communicative operator — I give clear direction, real feedback, and quick turnarounds on my end, and I expect the same. I like a short kickoff call to align, then async check-ins with work-in-progress shared early and often (I'd rather see rough directions than wait for a polished reveal). Tell me how you work best too — tools, cadence, how you like feedback — so we set this up right from day one. To start the conversation, send me: a couple of relevant portfolio pieces, your availability/timeline, how you price (project vs. hourly), and one thing you'd change or push on with what you've seen of MESSY so far. That last one tells me the most. Looking forward to it — let's make it messy. — Erica
