We ship research benchmarks, product launches, and daily social — and all of it has to clear one bar: research-lab credibility with consumer-grade cool. Our models compete above our weight class; the design should make that feel inevitable. You'll design from inside the Growth team, on the launch calendar, with real distribution behind everything you make — and we're hiring a long-term partner to shape a pioneering brand over years, not hand off files. (Well-funded, top-tier VC backing; company revealed after screening.) WHAT YOU'LL OWN - Launch assets: announcement visuals, benchmark-report layouts, diagrams that make technical work legible and enviable - Performance creative at volume: ad variants and social visuals designed to be clicked, tested, and iterated weekly - Sales enablement: case-study layouts, one-pagers, and deck polish that close rooms - Web design alongside our Webflow developer; light motion for demos and social - Making an established brand kit sharper — not different YOUR FIRST 30 DAYS - One launch fully assetted - 15+ ad and social variants in market - One report layout people share for how it looks THIS IS FOR YOU IF your B2B/AI portfolio has actual taste, Figma is home, typography and layout are craft rather than defaults, and you know the difference between designing for performance and designing for prestige — and switch on purpose. NOT FOR YOU IF volume breaks your quality, or your range is one style. THE ENGAGEMENT 15–25 hrs/week, ongoing and long-term by design — an embedded seat on the Growth team with fast feedback from people with opinions. HOW TO APPLY Answer the screening questions and start your proposal with the word NOVA. SCREENING QUESTIONS 1. Portfolio link, plus the three pieces most relevant to this role. 2. Which AI company's brand is best-executed right now, and why — two sentences. ("Clean and modern" is an automatic no.) 3. Describe a stretch where you produced high volume weekly. How did you keep quality from slipping?

The Vision Casita Home Collective is not meant to be another Shopify dropshipping store\. We’re creating a premium lifestyle brand that inspires people to create homes that feel warm, intentional, elevated, and deeply lived in\. At the heart of our brand is the meaning of the word **Casita**\. While *casa* translates to “house,” *casita* represents something much more meaningful—a home filled with love, family, hospitality, comfort, culture, beautiful design, and everyday moments that bring people together\. This philosophy should be felt throughout every aspect of the customer experience\. Our goal is for someone to land on the website and immediately feel calm, welcomed, inspired, and emotionally connected\. We want them to feel as though they’re stepping into a thoughtfully designed home rather than browsing a catalog of products\. The website should embody **quiet luxury**, **editorial design**, and **timeless sophistication**, while subtly celebrating Latin warmth and heritage\. The Latin influence should be woven into the storytelling, naming, and atmosphere—not through clichés or themed décor, but through thoughtful design, refined architecture, meaningful language, and a welcoming spirit\. Think warm earth tones, soft archways, natural stone, handcrafted ceramics, linen textiles, layered textures, beautiful entertaining, sunlit interiors, and spaces designed for gathering\. The brand should feel globally inspired, approachable, elegant, and timeless\. Every design choice should answer one question: **“Does this help transform a house into a Casita?”** --- # Project Deliverables The completed project should include a fully launch\-ready Shopify brand and ecommerce experience—not simply a functional website\. ## 1\. Complete Shopify Website Design and build a polished, high\-end Shopify store from the ground up with a premium customer experience\. The site should include: - Custom theme setup and customization - Responsive mobile, tablet, and desktop design - Editorial\-style homepage - Premium navigation and mega menu - Smart product filtering and search - Beautiful collection pages - Professionally designed product pages - Sticky navigation and Add\-to\-Cart where appropriate - Newsletter integration - Instagram integration - Trust\-building elements - Professional footer - 404 page - Coming Soon/Password page \(if needed\) - Speed optimization - SEO\-friendly architecture - ADA\-conscious best practices The experience should rival brands such as McGee & Co\., Jenni Kayne Home, Amber Interiors, Zara Home, and other elevated lifestyle brands\. --- ## 2\. Complete Brand Identity Develop or refine a cohesive visual identity that can be used consistently across the website, packaging, social media, email, and future marketing\. Deliverables include: - Primary logo - Secondary logo - Monogram - Brand mark/icon - Horizontal and stacked logo variations - Favicon - Social media profile assets - Curated color palette - Typography system - Brand style guide - Brand voice guide - Icon library for categories, navigation, and trust signals - Photography and creative direction guide The branding should feel timeless, architectural, warm, elevated, memorable, and rooted in the Casita philosophy\. --- ## 3\. Curated Product Research & Merchandising Research, source, and upload approximately **200 premium home décor products**\. The emphasis is on thoughtful curation—not volume\. Every product should feel like it was intentionally selected by an interior designer and should contribute to one cohesive aesthetic\. Avoid generic imports or random trending products\. Prioritize: - Quality - Reliable suppliers - Fast shipping - Beautiful photography - Timeless design - Natural materials - Artisan\-inspired details - Opportunities for future private labeling --- ## 4\. Product Upload & Organization Upload and fully configure approximately 200 products, including: - High\-quality images - Product variants - Pricing - Collections - Product tags - Smart filters - Product types - Related products - Upsells and cross\-sells - Inventory synchronization - SEO settings - Product dimensions, materials, and care details \(where available\) The catalog should feel intentionally curated rather than mass imported\. --- ## 5\. Original Product Copywriting Every product description should be completely rewritten to reflect the Casita Home Collective brand\. Do **not** use supplier copy\. Descriptions should: - Tell a story - Highlight craftsmanship and materials - Inspire customers to imagine the piece in their own home - Reinforce warmth, gathering, comfort, and intentional living - Sound elegant, conversational, and human - Be optimized for SEO - Include original titles, descriptions, meta titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text --- ## 6\. Website Storytelling The meaning of **Casita** should be woven naturally throughout the customer journey\. This includes: - Homepage messaging - About Us - Our Story - Collection introductions - Product descriptions - Promotional banners - Email signup messaging - Checkout messaging - Thank\-you pages - Footer messaging The website should consistently communicate that Casita Home Collective is more than a home décor store—it’s a lifestyle centered on creating spaces where memories are made and people feel at home\. --- ## 7\. Collections & Naming Develop elegant, intuitive collections that reinforce the brand while remaining easy for customers to shop\. Examples may include: **By Room** - Sala \(Living Room\) - Cocina \(Kitchen & Dining\) - Dormitorio \(Bedroom\) - Baño \(Bath\) - Patio - Oficina \(Home Office\) - Entrada \(Entryway\) **By Feeling** - Rincón \(Cozy Corners\) - Santuario \(Rest & Retreat\) - Reunión \(Gathering Spaces\) - Mesa \(Dining & Entertaining\) - Luz \(Lighting\) - Calma \(Relaxed Living\) - Raíces \(Timeless Essentials\) - Encuentro \(Hosting & Hospitality\) - Rituales \(Daily Living\) - Texturas \(Soft Furnishings\) Spanish should be used thoughtfully and sparingly, always paired with clear English descriptions so every customer feels welcomed and understands the meaning behind each collection\. --- ## 8\. Automation, Integrations & Growth Recommend, install, and configure best\-in\-class Shopify apps and automations that support long\-term growth while keeping ongoing costs reasonable\. Areas should include: - Product syncing - Inventory management - Reviews - Email marketing - Abandoned cart recovery - AI\-powered customer support - Upsells and cross\-sells - Loyalty and rewards - Wishlist - Order tracking - SEO - Analytics - Social media integrations - Marketing pixels - Cookie/privacy compliance Please explain why each app is recommended, whether it is free or paid, and how it supports the business\. --- ## 9\. Final Handoff Upon completion, provide: - A fully launch\-ready Shopify store - All editable branding files - Organized Shopify backend - Approximately 200 curated products with original copy - Brand guidelines - Documentation for all installed apps and workflows - A recorded walkthrough explaining how to manage products, collections, promotions, and ongoing site updates --- # Definition of Success This project is successful when someone visits Casita Home Collective and immediately feels they have discovered a thoughtfully curated lifestyle brand—not another online store\. The shopping experience should evoke warmth, elegance, intentional living, and the quiet beauty of home\. Every page, every product, every collection, every image, and every word should reinforce one simple belief: A house becomes a Casita through thoughtful design, meaningful details, and spaces created for gathering, comfort, and everyday beauty\.

I have a web app, checkit.gg, that provides a checklist service. The goal of the app is to make it easy for people to keep track of video game progress, as well as to create their own checklists for others to use. An example of a checklist is https://checkit.gg/007firstlight, which lists various collectibles of the game, and has ways to filter/sort/group them. The checks are persisted in browser storage, and users don’t have to log in unless they want to create a checklist or save their progress to the cloud. The main pages are: - Homepage - https://checkit.gg/ - Checklist page - https://checkit.gg/007firstlight - All checklists page - https://checkit.gg/all I like the minimalism of the current design, but am very open to any suggestions. For example, the homepage might benefit from a catch phrase or some stats. As for the colors, I definitely lean towards dark mode with contrasting or even neon colors. The current colors are just based on the default dark theme for the DaisyUI component library I’m using. I generally like the current logo but am open to some changes there (especially to match any colors of the overall design). I've attached some images for aesthetic inspiration. If I had to summarize what I think I want out of a redesign, it would be: - Better colors; leaning towards dark mode with color gradient - Minimal/intuitive UX - More attractive/interesting homepage - Anything else you think is cool and would get people to use the app!
