I need a designer to create a double-sided wooden coin design that can be laser cut or etched by a friend. The final design should be clear, precise, and ready for production. Please share relevant examples of similar work and your experience with laser-cut or engraved designs. The project is small and straightforward, with a focus on accuracy and production-readiness.

Project description Fresh Air is a new annual print magazine launching Holiday 2026, shipping with every order of Solevaire — a luxury golf shoe care brand. The editorial bar is set by Sports Illustrated, The Golfer’s Journal, and Cereal Magazine. I’m looking for a cartoonist to create three original comic strips for the magazine’s closing department. Each strip is three panels, full color, in the style of The Parfather or similar Sunday-comics golf cartooning (painted or digital color, traditional character work, dialogue in speech bubbles). Scope 3 original comic strips, 3 panels each Full color, print-ready Delivered as high-res PDF or PSD, 300 DPI, CMYK Approximate dimensions: 4" × 10" per strip, vertical orientation (open to discussion) The three cartoons All three feature well-known professional golfers in caricature (not photorealistic). Themes cover club-throwing frustration, a deadpan press conference, and a physicist-golfer’s battle with fescue. Full three-panel scripts — dialogue, staging, character notes — will be provided upon hire. Timeline milestones Concept sketches (rough pencil): 5 days after start One round of revisions: 2 days Final art delivered: within 2 weeks total Budget note (be transparent about this) $100 for three strips is intentionally a Vol. 01 pilot rate. If this issue lands well, I’m looking for a recurring illustrator for future volumes (2–3 new strips per year, ongoing multi-year partnership). This is a shot at a long relationship with a launching luxury brand, not a one-off. Byline credit in the printed magazine every year. To apply, please include 3 samples of comic or cartoon work (golf a plus, not required) One sentence about your process for caricaturing real people Confirmation you can hit a 2-week timeline One quick pencil sketch attempt of any character (a golfer of your choice) so I can see your line before we start Rights Full print and digital rights transfer with payment. Illustrator retains portfolio rights and byline credit in every issue the work appears in. Not an exclusive engagement — you can license similar work elsewhere. I have panel scripts for you on this project so it should be pretty straightforward. I would like to project done within 2 weeks of hire.

We are looking for a talented illustrator or character designer to create a fun, safety-oriented mascot for our company, Trowel Craft. We have an AI-rendered reference image of a person wearing the required PPE, but we do not want the final artwork to look like a real person. Instead, we want the character turned into a caricature, mascot, or cartoon-style figure. It can be human-like, emoji-inspired, or another fun creative style, as long as it feels approachable and visually engaging. The main priority is accurately showcasing the required PPE our employees wear. Required PPE to include: Hard hat with chin strap Safety glasses Hearing protection High-visibility safety vest Same style gloves as shown in reference Steel toe work boots Important notes: The final character does not need to resemble the reference person The pose and body style can be completely redesigned The non-PPE clothing can be changed however you see fit We want the overall feel to be fun, friendly, and safety-focused Full-body design only for this phase Deliverables: Adobe Illustrator file (.AI) PNG JPG What we’re looking for: Strong illustration / mascot / character design skills Ability to create clean, professional artwork from a reference Experience designing characters for workplace, brand, or safety-related materials is a plus

Create a collection of four low-relief decorative 3D objects intended for FDM printing. The objects are the following: 1. Seaweed. 2. Fan Coral. 3. Branch Coral. 4. Clamshell. Each object should have a completely flat back and a simplified raised front, similar to a layered wooden cutout, decorative magnet, or wall plaque—not a sculpted figurine. Concept artwork and style references will be made available. Your job is to interpret those references into a cohesive collection of printable relief pieces that share a consistent artistic style.
