About MontyCloud MontyCloud is a no-code platform for autonomous CloudOps, built for AWS-focused managed service providers and cloud teams. Our marketing runs on WordPress and a steady stream of sales and partner collateral. We are looking for a reliable part-time contractor to keep our website secure and current, and to give our web pages and presentations a more modern, polished feel. The role This is a combined WordPress and design role. You will be the go-to person who keeps our WordPress site healthy and secure and refreshes the look and feel of our pages, so they feel modern. It is a light-touch, ongoing engagement rather than a full-time load, so we are looking for someone dependable who can own these areas with minimal hand-holding. What you'll own 1. WordPress security and maintenance This is the core of the role and the reason it exists. We need someone who is comfortable keeping our site safe and up to date so we are never worrying about it. Updates: Review and apply plugin, theme, and core updates on a regular cadence, testing so nothing breaks. Security: Monitor for vulnerabilities and act on them quickly and confidently. Site health: Manage backups, uptime, and basic performance so the site stays reliable. Judgment: Flag anything that needs a bigger decision or budget before it becomes a problem. 2. WordPress design and modernization Beyond keeping the lights on, we want our pages to feel more dynamic and modern. Pages: Design and build new pages and refresh existing ones to feel current and engaging. Layout: Improve layout, visual hierarchy, and responsiveness across devices. Brand: Keep everything consistent with the MontyCloud brand (colors, type, logo usage). 3. Design Visuals We regularly produce sales, partner, and marketing assets and want them to look sharp. Paid Social Ads: Design and build ads for social media platforms. 3D Environmental Design: Any tradeshow event designing is a plus. What we're looking for Hands-on WordPress experience, including confidently managing plugin and theme updates and site security. A strong design eye for modern web layouts and clean presentation design. Comfort working independently on a small, predictable set of recurring tasks. Clear communication and reliable turnaround. Nice to have Experience with WordPress and basic HTML and CSS. Familiarity with B2B or technology brands. Tools you'll use You should be comfortable in these, or able to get up to speed quickly: WordPress: Our website is built on a template from Wordpress. Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for design work and polished graphics. Canva: For quick, on-brand graphics and lighter creative. Figma: Nice to have for mockups before building. Engagement details Type: Contract, part-time, remote. Commitment: Ongoing, with a light and predictable monthly commitment (estimated 1-2 hours per week, scaling up for design projects as needed). Managed by: Website and design contract managed by the MontyCloud marketing team. How to apply Send a short intro, your rate, examples of WordPress sites you maintain or have built, and design samples. Tell us which of the three areas above is your strongest.

I'm the founder and CEO of a real estate investment platform ($1B+ raised, 40,000+ investors) building out my personal brand site: craigxcecilio.com. The site exists today (Next.js) and works, but it's being restructured around a new architecture: a media hub (podcast, articles, whitepapers), a private advisory offer, and a private investor section. This is NOT a "figure it out as we go" project. You will receive a complete architecture and strategy document, final page copy for every page, and a visual sitemap/homepage mockup. Your job is execution: build it clean, fast, and exactly to spec. Scope of work: Homepage rebuild — new hero, proof bar, three-pathway section (replacing a broken "no offerings available" block), latest-content feed, newsletter section, site-wide announcement bar. New pages — /experience (media hub with podcast player, article grid, email-gated whitepaper library), /seminar (event registration page), /advisory (offer landing page), /invest/inner-circle (private community page), /story (about page). Updates to existing pages — /invest (add one section), /blog (keep URLs, surface inside /experience). Integrations — GoHighLevel forms throughout (newsletter, seminar registration, advisory application, investor access request), each wired to specific tags; podcast embeds (Apple/Spotify/YouTube); 301 redirect from an external domain (cxcelite.com) to /advisory. Nav & footer restructure — 5-item nav + CTA button, per spec. SEO — preserve existing /blog URLs and rankings, proper meta/OG tags on all new pages, clean Core Web Vitals. Responsive — flawless on mobile; most of this audience arrives from social. What I provide: Full architecture & strategy document (sitemap, page-by-page specs, funnel logic). Final copy for every page — no lorem ipsum, no waiting on content. Visual sitemap and homepage wireframe. Brand assets (logo, photography, existing design language to match). GoHighLevel account access and form/tag requirements. Tech requirements: Strong Next.js/React experience (the current site is Next.js — you'll work within it, not replatform). Experience embedding and styling GoHighLevel (or similar CRM) forms. Comfortable with DNS/redirect setup, analytics events, and basic on-page SEO.

Full Stack Developer Skills • Full stack web development. Comfortable building a complete feature, front end through database, without hand-holding. • API integration experience. Stripe, QuickBooks, or similar third-party APIs. Should be able to read API docs and ship a working integration. • Solid SQL and comfort working with data. Much of our work is moving, reconciling, and presenting data. • Fluent with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex). We want someone who uses them to explore and verify and to increase efficiency, not someone who pastes errors until something runs. Project experience • Has shipped from a vague ask. Look for candidates who can describe taking a loose problem, figuring out the requirements, and delivering. • Has automated something. A scraper, a reporting pipeline, a workflow at a job. Characteristics • Independent. Takes a problem and runs with it. Does not need a spec for every task or wait on me for direction. • A true collaborator. Asks about the business context before proposing architecture. Pushes back with reasons and alternative solutions. • Curious and fast-learning. They will touch unfamiliar domains constantly. • Honest about what they don't know. We would rather hear "I haven't done this, but here's how I'd figure it out" than false confidence.
