Project Overview: I'm looking for a graphic designer to create a clean, modern illustration for a standard canvas event tote bag. The concept is a minimal New York City skyline made up of recognizable NYC architecture and classic city buildings. The buildings should incorporate a specific repeating window/grid pattern, which I will provide as a visual reference. The goal is something architectural and fun while still remaining simple enough to reproduce beautifully on a tote bag. Design Direction: - Design the graphic with a transparent background that can be used for a standard canvas tote bag, approximately 15" W × 16" H × 3" D. - Create a simple, stylized NYC skyline with a mix of classic city building silhouettes and approximately 3–4 recognizable New York landmarks. - Landmark ideas could include the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, and Brooklyn Bridge, but I'm open to your creative interpretation of what works best compositionally. - Keep the skyline minimal and relatively simple rather than overly detailed or realistic. - Incorporate the provided repeating window/grid pattern throughout the building silhouettes. This is the attached window grid pattern to the project. - The overall aesthetic should feel clean and modern with strong silhouettes that will reproduce well through screen printing. - Please keep the final artwork relatively simple in terms of colors and fine details to make production as straightforward as possible. Ideally, the buildings would all be the same color and would love to keep the graphic between 2-4 colors, for screen printing. Concept References: I've attached a few very rough concept sketches to help communicate the general layout and direction. My graphic design skills are definitely limited, so these are for conceptual reference only. Please don't recreate the sketches directly. The patterns and proportions shown in my mockups are not accurate. I'd love for you to use them simply as a jumping-off point and bring your own design expertise and creativity to the final illustration! Deliverables: - Fully editable Adobe Illustrator (.AI) working file - High-resolution PNG with a transparent background Timeline: Final files requested within 72 hours of the project start with one edit. Budget: $130

We’re hiring a US-based freelance graphic designer to support our marketing and design team across a wide range of projects — from presentations to scalable templates. This is a hands-on, intermediate-level role for someone who’s technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in supporting fast turnover projects. The visual concept and master image for the current series are already established. I am not looking for a designer to create a new concept or redesign the existing artwork. The core image will remain the same across approximately 12 essays. The work will primarily involve updating the essay title and typography, along with occasional small graphic adjustments as directed. While the titles will change, the typography, placement, scale, and overall graphic treatment must remain consistent with the established design. I'm looking for someone who is comfortable working within an existing creative direction and can make precise changes without altering the underlying visual style. Attention to detail and consistency from image to image are essential.
