During my 35-year run as a writer and editor, I tried a bit of everything before finally finding my home in the glorious madness of narrative design.
I've paid the bills as a comedy writer (stand-up, sketch, radio) and newspaper editor. I wrote a comic-book series endorsed by Clive Barker and edited many many others, including a whole lot of books for Scout Comics. I wrote/directed the horror movie THE WRONG HOUSE and played monsters in several other films. For the video game EPIC TAVERN, I created hundreds of quests, more than 150 playable characters with unique backstories, and did extensive worldbuilding. For MURDER ON THE MIDWAY (which I also coded), I designed dialogue trees and created a fully-functioning traveling carnival loaded with dozens of memorable characters.
I recently cowrote the 10-episode audio series UNDERTOW: BLOOD FOREST and wrote the standalone audio ghost story RETURN TO BLACKOUT POINT, both of which were produced and distributed by Realm.
I thrive on complexity, I have a quiet, dedicated home office deep in the Maine wilderness and impeccable references as a remote writer and editor. It is my firm belief that having worked in damn-near every storytelling medium known to humankind has prepared me to handle anything a project throws at me.

I have always been passionate about science and languages. After obtaining my Bachelor's degree from the Medical School of the University of Athens, proceeding to an Internal Medicine and, finally a Pulmonology residency, I have successfully combined both, working as a freelance copywriter, proofreader and translator.
I am a bilingual English and Greek speaker, also proficient in German. I enjoy working both on medical articles and other topics: if it interests me, I am in! I also undertake translations and re-writing projects in any combination between the three languages I am fluent in.
I have a keen eye for detail, syntax, diction and grammar, as far as linguistics is concerned. Proofreading and editing texts is, for me, something that closely resembles art: a way to enhance a text and bring out its true meaning.
I love to work with new people and offer my services when required, with a professional attitude, availability to my client and ability to keep deadlines. I guarantee quality copywriting, translation and editing services.

I have been working as a Freelance Content Writer for more than 7 years. My strong research skills have enabled me to tackle a wide variety of topics, from motoring, water sports, and home decor to senior care, productivity, and travelling. I thrive on creating articles that convey information to target audiences in an engaging, helpful, and clear way.
After a successful career in finance, I relocated from London to Dahab, a small town on the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, for a different pace of life. After working for a while as a SCUBA diving professional, I invested in a small hotel. It was while working in hospitality that I began writing blog posts. Drawing on my experience in the hospitality industry and as a Brit living abroad, my articles focused on travel and the issues affecting expatriates.
After 15 years, I relinquished my share in the hotel and turned to writing full-time. A chance encounter offered me the opportunity to research and write about many other topics, including home improvements, food, productivity, and the automotive industry.
In 2023, I began writing extensively on senior care in the U.S. The aim was to help older adults and their families navigate the complicated U.S. healthcare system to find the right senior care option for their needs. My blog posts, how-to guides, and info pages have covered a range of subjects, including the types of care available, how individual facilities vary, and different financing options.
While I still write about senior care, I also take on assignments covering any subject. I enjoy researching new topics and putting the information in a way that everyone can understand and learn from.
