Every manuscript deserves more than a simple grammar check, it deserves an editor who understands how to strengthen clarity, readability, consistency, and flow while preserving your unique authorial voice. I specialize in editing fiction and non-fiction manuscripts, helping authors transform completed drafts into polished, publication-ready books for Amazon KDP, literary agents, and traditional publishing. My editing process focuses on improving sentence flow, correcting grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax, eliminating repetition, enhancing readability, strengthening pacing, and ensuring consistency throughout your manuscript. Every edit is completed using Microsoft Word with Track Changes, allowing you to review every suggestion while maintaining full control of your work. Whether I'm performing copy editing, line editing, proofreading, or a comprehensive manuscript review, my goal is always the same: produce a clean, professional manuscript that reads naturally without changing your voice or writing style. My editing workflow includes: ✔Initial manuscript assessment to understand your goals, audience, and writing style. ✔Line-by-line editing to improve clarity, sentence flow, pacing, and readability. ✔Careful correction of grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and formatting inconsistencies. ✔Consistency checks for terminology, character names, timelines, capitalization, and style. ✔Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) and US English editing when required. ✔Delivery in Microsoft Word using Track Changes with clear editorial comments and suggestions. ✔Final quality review to ensure your manuscript is polished, consistent, and publication-ready. I regularly work with novels, thrillers, psychological suspense, romance, fantasy, dystopian fiction, memoirs, self-help, and other book-length manuscripts. Whether you're preparing for Amazon KDP, literary agent submissions, or professional publication, I provide thoughtful, detail-oriented editing that improves your manuscript while preserving the voice that makes it yours. My experience and expertise in education, teaching English for over 30 years, enabled me to become a highly skilled and expert proofreader, copyeditor, copywriter, and curriculum developer when I changed career over three years ago. Since then, I’ve worked closely with non-for-project companies, authors, writers and businesses to create outstanding results in each of these areas. The relationship I have with clients is key to the success of every project I have completed. Clients have chosen to work with me because: • I have an exemplary understanding of the English language and am versatile in the tone and style that I write in. • I combine creative storytelling with purpose. • I communicate effectively throughout the project, providing regular feedback and advice to ensure I provide the best results for my client. • I deliver within the deadline. I have had experience with copyediting novels, memoirs, dissertations, website and webinar copy, handbooks, blogs, menus, company presentations and booklets. I have written materials for various curriculums (this includes plans, assessment, teaching material and guides, student workbooks), websites, webinars, training materials, newsletters, magazines and an activity book. Being passionate about the English language isn’t just a day job for me. It’s a way of life. If you want someone who doesn’t just deliver, but delivers with passion and ambition, get in touch.

I'm Sabina – native German speaker and professional translator. I deliver English-to-German work that doesn't read like a translation. Twenty years of daily English use across England, China, and Sri Lanka built the cultural fluency that machine translation can't replicate. I don't convert your words; I rebuild them in German so they land the way you intended. What I translate (EN → DE) - Books, novels, and long-form fiction - Websites, product pages, and Amazon listings - Marketing copy: blurbs, landing pages, newsletters, A+ content - Documents, articles, academic and business texts - Apps, courses, and software interfaces Plus proofreading and editing of existing German content for grammar, style, and natural flow. Indie romance and romantasy – my specialty With my translation partner Michael, I've translated 40+ English-language novels into German — publicly credited as Sabina Triseckin on 16 of them on Amazon DE (search my name there to see the books). We work as a native-speaker duo: one translates, the other proofreads, every line passes through both of us before it reaches you. For authors specifically: fixed per-word pricing, no royalty share, 100% of your IP and royalties stay with you. Message me and I'll send the full process breakdown, transparent rate card, and a portfolio of translated novels directly. How I work Send me the source – a manuscript, a file, or just a sample. Within 24 hours you get a real quote and a realistic delivery date. Direct contact with one human, no agency layer, no surprise fees. 100% job success on Upwork. I write back to every message myself. Looking forward to hearing about your project. Sabina

Let's be honest. Most manuscripts don't fail because the writer lacks talent. They fail because nobody told the writer the truth. Your friend said it was amazing. Your writing group said "maybe tighten chapter three." Your mom cried at the ending, but she also cried at a paper towel commercial last Tuesday. None of that gets you published. None of that gets you reviews. None of that gets readers recommending your book at 1am to someone who should be sleeping. That's where I come in. I read fiction the way your future readers will hungry, impatient, and completely willing to put your book down if you lose me. The difference is I'll tell you exactly where you lost me, exactly why, and exactly what to do about it. Your readers will just leave a two-star review and move on with their lives. I specialize in science fiction, fantasy, and thriller, genres where pacing isn't a suggestion, world-building has to earn its word count, and readers will forgive you almost anything except being boring. What I'll do to your manuscript: ✅ Beta Reading — I read it as a reader first. No editorial filter, no politeness tax. You get my real reaction, where I was hooked, where I checked my phone, where I genuinely didn't see that twist coming, and where I absolutely did. That reaction is worth more than a hundred "it's great" responses. ✅ Developmental Editing — Structure, pacing, narrative arc, character consistency. If your story is a house, developmental editing checks whether the foundation is solid before we talk about the curtains. Most manuscripts need this more than they need anything else and most authors skip it entirely. Don't be most authors. ✅ Line Editing — This is where your prose stops surviving and starts singing. Sentence rhythm, word choice, dialogue that actually sounds human, flow that pulls readers forward without them noticing. Your voice stays completely intact. Everything fighting against it doesn't. ✅ Proofreading — The last thing standing between your manuscript and public embarrassment. Typos, punctuation, consistency errors, the word "definitely" spelled four different ways across 80,000 words. I find all of it. Every last one. You're exactly who I work with if: ✅ You've finished your manuscript and something still feels wrong but you can't name it ✅ Your beta readers liked it but couldn't tell you why the middle dragged ✅ You're self-publishing and your name is going on this thing permanently ✅ You want someone who will treat your story seriously enough to be completely honest about it What you actually get: ✅ Editorial letter with specific, prioritized revision guidance, not vague gestures at "clarity" ✅ Inline comments in Google Docs Suggesting Mode so you see every decision explained ✅ Multiple solutions per problem, because "fix this" without options isn't feedback, it's homework ✅ A reader's real reaction documented throughout, not manufactured after the fact ✅ Your voice protected at every single stage Genres: Science Fiction · Fantasy · Thriller · Mystery · Horror · Young Adult · Historical Fiction · Romance · Literary Fiction · Memoir Short stories to 120,000+ word novels. No cookie-cutter packages, scope and turnaround discussed per project so you're never paying for what you don't need. Most editors will tell you your manuscript has potential. I'll tell you whether it actually does, and if it does, I'll help you prove it on every page. If you're serious about publishing something worth reading, click Invite to Job or send a direct message. Tell me your genre, word count, and where the manuscript feels stuck. I'll take it from there.
