The system is built on the Dusun 210-F Edge Gateway with Rockchip RK3328, integrating LoRa, Zigbee, Z-Wave, BLE, WiFi, LTE, and Hardware Security Modules (HSM) for encrypted communications. The firmware supports Secure Boot, AVB, DM-V, Rootfs encryption, and A/B firmware updates via Mender to ensure a highly secure and reliable system. 🔹 Custody Protect – IoT Smart Handcuff We recently developed an IoT Smart Handcuff used for monitoring prisoners in custody in the USA. Custody Protect helps police and prison monitoring officers track each prisoner’s health status and detect violations of predefined conditions. Our team developed the entire end-to-end stack – backend, user apps, firmware, and PCB design. The ESP32 interfaces with multiple components like RFID, LoRaWAN, BLE, WiFi-BLE Mesh Network, and UWB to securely transmit data to the cloud. 🔹 Device Thread – OpenWRT & Intel NUC-Based Edge Server We built an Edge Gateway solution where OpenWRT powers a captive portal for user activity logging and intelligent bandwidth management, including IP-based controls.
