Hi there! My name is Kevin and I’m the founder of Ivy Group, a California Company… I’m super passionate about helping be their best selves and I believe the best way to make a better world is to help people improve themselves individually. I’m looking for an amazing GIS, demographics analyzer who can help me with feasibility studies, ideally long-term. MUST speak great English. You’ll be pulling data from BAO/ESRI and filling out templates. I could use some help tweaking my processes and appreciate your input and expertise. I’m looking for someone detail-oriented, reliable and positive. Big bonus if you consider yourself an optimist. Please let me know: 1. Your hourly rate 2. What hours you’re available (please convert this to the PST time-zone) 3. Why you do what you do  — What do you enjoy most about it? Big thanks! Kevin

We require a talented individual to provide some design ideas/imagery for a proposed web-based, Javascript mapping (GIS) application. The candidate must be able to demonstrate previous experience in designing attractive and functional web-based mapping projects. We are open to the use/suggestion of any Javascript and/or PHP libraries that will supplement the project. Our application is primarily focused on the interaction and display of geo-spatial data that is generated from unmanned robotic sea-going vessels, both on the surface and underwater. The main function will be the visualization of a single vessel, plotting previous and current coordinates represented by latitude and longitude. In addition to this there are 15+ different instruments that can be toggled by the user, such as boat speed, heading, battery state etc. If you believe you fit the bill, please reply with your portfolio and we can discuss further.

Need a hire a technologist to work on a data visualization for the UN World Humanitarian Summit #VisualizeChange challenge. The winning visualization presents in Geneva at the UN this October. Our aim is to win. Our data is outstanding. We, however, are missing the technologist and with the two together, we can submit the winning visualization. **Must have CartoDB.js customization experience.** This was a 25 day turn time project and we had a team of researchers from outstanding universities pull together the data for this project. We now need a programmer to put this into CartoDB by 11:59PM GMT August 30th. Needless to say, this is a very short time frame. We have all the tables ready to go. The main thing we need is not only load all this data into CartoDB but also to customize a dropdown menu so that people can choose what to show and what not to show on the visualization. The theme of our visualization is the Ethiopian proverb "When spiderwebs unite they can...

Looking for an expert to finish a python script I'm stuck on. We have a python script that logs into a WFS service, reads the layer count, gets the projection, calls DescribeFeatureType, but then fails trying to list the features. Basically, we need to get a large feature set from WFS 1.1 to a CSV file. Quite possibly it's simply a configuration issue. Since this is such a small job, I'd rather set it up where we screenshare (via Google Hangouts) and walk through the code together. Please include your availability, I'm on New York time.

However, Win server no longer available so I need to setup GeoServer on a ubuntu 14 server and recover these layers. I have copied data folder from win server, however, I may loss workspaces folder, so I need your help to re-publish these layers. You may need to re-build style files also. I will provide shp files. Thanks! Xiaoning

Map a simple spreadsheet containing facility locations, and create a portal to administer the data. Utilize CartoDB. In addition to the address field, there are approximately 4 additional fields to ma, however we intend on building on the application from there. We'd like to provide capability to toggle on/off by some of these fields, and also utilize built-in heatmap and other capabilities built into CartoDB.
