I am looking to identify an economic development professional with related grant research and writing experience to evaluate three communities in New York State to determine which, if any, is most suitable for a NYS economic development grant program (the New York Main Street Program). I would like this person to review the grant guidance, review material on each community and prepare a one to two page summary that briefly describes eligibility considerations for each community; prioritizes each community in terms of suitability for the grant, presents the reasons for prioritization, and provides a recommendation for moving forward (is it recommended to apply for this grant? If so, for which community?). This is an initial, short term project to identify consultants that may be well suited for future work. Such future work might include preparing an application to the grant program mentioned, as well as a federal grant application for an unrelated economic development project. The qualified consultant should be able to readily grasp the task at hand, and comfortable working independently and providing succinct feedback. Community development experience would also be a relevant. The deliverable would be due by Friday, May 27. I will be available to provide feedback and answer substantive questions. Applicants please provide either a flat fee or anticipated time commitment. The New York Main Street program Resource Guide is available at

I am an independent film maker with a concept for a reality TV show/Documentary Series that is as big as MTV was for pop music in the 80's. I am still considering pitching it directly to the networks or going after a grant. I produced and directed a case study last year (pilot episode of sorts) and it was received very well by all. I am looking for someone who loves Television and films but wants to help make them to be better. If you have grant writing, fund raising, film making, video editing, graphic design and maybe some producer credits (school projects are just fine). Really, I want a young partner who is passionate about television, film making, youth education and making a very tidy living in the process.. I need a creative partner in crime that wants to help me take this incredible idea all the way... Your passion for developing dynamic educational opportunities for our youth is paramount. This gig does not pay until we sell a show or receive a grant. Percentage on the back end will be negotiated based on what you bring to the project. If you have established connects in the industry even better. I am really looking for a young partner that really "gets" how big this idea is and it's potential for a world wide 100M plus audience in the first season!! Please reach out to me with your creative accomplishments. scripts you've written, commercials, video work, something you produced and any success you have had fund raising for a film or creative project. Tell me what you get excited about in a film or creative project.. Please include your social media handles and user names. look forward to your response and thank you for your time.
