Your responsibilities will include checking for spelling, grammar, and sentence structure to ensure that all content is flawless and comprehensible. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Digital Proofreader to review and refine a variety of digital marketing deliverables for spelling, grammar, brand consistency, and functionality. You’ll work with tools like Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, HubSpot, and WordPress, applying strong English language skills, AP Style knowledge, and a collaborative approach. Responsibilities Work on a high volume of short duration proofreading tasks, across variety of customer and internal marketing deliverables within the day Use a variety of software to access and proof deliverables. Must be willing and excited to learn how to use new platforms to perform tasks, including but not limited to Adobe Acrobat, HubSpot, WordPress, wireframe/UX tools, and other platforms used by the production team. Review original project request (client and project manager guidance), and cross-reference rounds of copy and other supplemental materials to the deliverable. Provide direct, actionable edits to the deliverable owner including edits to correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, factual errors, placement of copy and imagery within designs and developed pages, functionality issues on coded pages, and adherence to brand guidelines. Examples of marketing content deliverables you will work on include eBooks, case studies, sell sheets, blog posts, emails, landing pages and forms, website pages. Communicate edits and status of your work to production team owners and Project Manager to keep production process moving forward. Update project time in our project management tool to maintain accurate project status. Complete tasks within planned time and due dates and communicate with Project Managers and Traffic Coordinator if delays occur. This person has no direct reports.
