Hi there, I am currently working on creating a webcomic and I am looking for artists (in San Diego or anywhere nearby) willing to commit some time working on this project (I am of course, willing to pay). The artwork isn't supposed to be hyper detailed and at most objects (characters, buildings, weapons, etc) being colored will have a 4 color palate. Essentially the coloring will at least be on par with the "Rick and Morty" series and on certain occasion be on the same level as the "Naruto Shippuden" anime (but these moments are few and far between). Again I must emphasize that I am not looking for extreme attention to detail like in the "Beserk" manga, but rather for a design more akin to a simpler version of a typical Naruto Shippuden manga. The art should be fast, lose and even fun to draw. If you find yourself focusing too much on a specific feature on something, it is okay to ignore it or add minor hashing. I will handle the storyboarding for the most part, but I just help in finalizing the scenes as well as coming up with some character designs from time to time. The webcomic is called "Extracelestial" and it is the story of Alejandro Tyson, a black Mexican-American, who is the last human alive in the universe and his quest to find out what happened to all the humans. He also has a desire to make a name for humanity that will impress all existing alien species. Although he is armed with super speed, intelligence, senses, and strength, it will be hard to gain any recognition. This is in part because the most notable figures in the galaxy are Aalar; beings capable of bending the laws of physics and reality to their will. I hope that you are interested in this project and please do not hesitate to contact me.

We are seeking an experienced designer to assist with the design and layout for a postcard to be used at a fast-approaching graduate fair. Graduate fairs can be competitive, with every large consultancy handing out glossy brochures. We want to look different. We're thinking of handing out a postcard-type piece that points possible recruits to our web (where all the important information is). Think white space, clean lines and minimal in look - however, we'll be guided by your experience. In the past, we've been bold, bright and not refined - not what we want to portray to our future consultants. You'll be supplied with copy, images and brand guidelines. Please note, the timelines for this project are tight (we're looking to have this finalised by the end of the week). Help us secure the best graduates for our business!

My neighborhood association, with a grant from our city, created a public park. We would now like to create a historical timeline using pictures designed onto a poster of roughly 38x40" inches. The poster will consist mainly of photos from the park's construction, fund raising and related activities. However, the time line needs to be decorated with design elements used in the park, for example a logo used around it, and certain animals used in a wrought iron gate. I will be able to supply most of these, though in a few cases some simple tracing may be required. I expect the board to hold very roughly 20-30 photos, though the exact number will be determined during a design phase. Project will be broken into two phases - Design, where the board will be laid out - Execution, where photos will be added and an output file produced. This job does not require copywriting, but it does require the English skills, and interest, to understand the story of the park and then creatively express it. I can provide materials (pictures, design elements, a very brief written background) to serious applications.
