I'm looking for a 3D artist experienced with modeling and texturing, to build and texture five variations of a single 3D model, to be used in a Unity mobile game.
The model is of a golden pedestal. Within the game, the pedestal will be large (~10 meters tall), viewed from an isometric perspective, and will support and enclose a glowing orb (the orb itself is not part of this job). The pedestal is symmetrical around its center, with three legs that each extend up to surround the orb. See the attached rough sketch.
The pedestal should appear to be constructed of gold metal, can be ornamented with ancient runes, and looks like a valuable ancient artifact.
In addition to this basic pedestal, I would like four variations of it:
1) One that uses the same model but appears to be built from deep blue crystal.
2) One that uses the same model but appears to be built out of granite.
3) One that is also gold, but has a slightly enhanced model, with a few fancier flourishes, maybe gemstones set into facets at its base, so that it looks more important and valuable.
4) One that is also gold, but that uses a shorter version of the model. The parts that support the sphere will connect directly to the "feet" of the model, with the "legs" removed.
Each of these variations would featured different runes, with some overlapping symbols between them, so that it appears that each pedestal has a different inscription in the same arcane language.
Each model should be made up of less than, or not much more than, 1000 triangles. Texture image should be 1024x1024. Finished product should be in .fbx format.
I would like to be able to review and request any revisions for the basic pedestal model, and then for the four additional variations.
Based on the results there is also the possibility for future work on this same game.
