I started Steck Insights Web Design out of a passion for web design and seeing small businesses succeed. Most clients come to me complaining of a previous developer that didn't respond to their requests in a timely manner, spoke over their heads, charged more than was communicated or did poor work. It's my goal to destroy the commonly held view of web designers by: 1. Communicating clearly and promptly 2. Setting clear expectations and hitting deadlines 3. Providing top-notch service and excellent web design/development As a professional web developer and front-end designer since 2007, I have a particular expertise in WordPress CMS and the Genesis Framework. My goal is to see small businesses (500 employees or less) succeed. I pride myself in first-class customer support, timely responses and communicating with the heart of a teacher. As owner and lead developer of a web design company bearing my last name, I personally stand behind my work. I am proficient in HTML5, CSS, MySQL, PHP, Coldfusion, Javscript, jQuery and Photoshop. I work primarily with WordPress, as it provides a simple yet scalable platform for easy content management and lower ongoing costs for the client. I adhere to the philosophy that "a client should not be handcuffed to the developer", but should retain control of their website. I also provide Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Mobile Responsive (mobile-friendly) design, Site Speed Optimization, Security, Website Support/Maintenance, Content Management and Social Media services.
