TJ Interactive is a senior-led software studio. We build and modernize SaaS platforms that have to hold up in production: legacy codebases, multi-tenant architecture, real users, and long-lived data. Most engagements start with a fixed-scope audit. We look at your architecture or your legacy code, tell you what's actually wrong, and hand back a ranked plan to fix it. From there, we can take on the build itself, the implementation the audit pointed at, done by the people who wrote the plan. The studio has run since 2008, led by Tamara (TJ) Fredrikson, a senior engineer with 25+ years across sole-proprietor, partnership, and salaried roles. That track record: - 10 years architecting and running a multi-tenant SaaS platform for the California Community Colleges system: 116 colleges, 2,000+ users, 300,000+ submissions, full lifecycle from architecture to production. - Under TJ Interactive: full-stack contract delivery for Bublish, Trekkel, Golightly, and the Simon Wiesenthal Center. - Earlier work, under prior employers: enterprise platforms for Pfizer, Wells Fargo, and Guide Dogs for the Blind, plus incident response on a $6B e-commerce system serving 150+ clients. - AWS data warehousing and ETL (Glue, S3, Redshift) feeding analytics in JasperReports and Apache Superset. - Auth and access control built right: RBAC, SSO, Keycloak. - WCAG 2.2 / ADA / Section 508 compliance designed in from day one.
