Christian Theology Center
Overview
If you are a Christian author, we should be working together. Here is the reason why: Your writing is the result of the Holy Spirit's leading. It would be best if you had an editor who shares your faith perspective and can edit for more than mechanical errors. The ability to have candid conversations about writing rooted in Christian tenets is critical to the integrity of the final product. You spent countless hours writing, so I will not bother you with every bit of detail, such as misspelled words, punctuation errors, or grammar mistakes, as long as those changes do not change the message. However, I will consult with you before making substantial changes to the organization of your work. What you have written is sacred work. The integrity of that message must remain intact. The "Chicago Manual of Style" and "AP Style Guide" are my primary resources. I also use the "Christian Writer's Manual of Style" to determine the proper use of Christian terminology, abbreviations, capitalization, and punctuation. Preferred Projects: brochures, presentations, reports, letters, essays, blog posts, podcast scripts, e-books, books, devotionals, articles, news releases, programs, website content, cover letters, and resumes'. Please note: Proofreading and editing are not the same things. Proofreaders look for the items listed above. Editors correct complex issues such as sentence construction, language clarity, readability, and tone. I can help you with both, but editing will require more time. less
