We are amazingcat — e-commerce team from Russia. We're focusing on the e-commerce platforms (like Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify) and framework-based web development. Our country is really wide, and all of our offices located in different timezones, so we're covering around 16 hours each day. Our team consists of inventive members with different experiences and skills, and we encourage the versatile development of programmers in adjacent stacks instead of focusing on one narrow specialization. Considering our skills, long story short: - Laravel/Lumen, Yii, Symphony, vanilla PHP - Node.js, Electron - Magento CE, EE - WooCommerce, Shopify - Ruby on Rails - MySQL, MariaDB - Sphinx, Elasticsearch - Redis, RabbitMQ - Docker And there are a few things we recently made: - Realtime backup system for e-commerce. We've created an application which allows shop owners to easily set up a backup for their orders, products, and customers. In case of critical site issues, while support service or IT division working on repairment, the sales team can continue working with existing orders without any downtime via our application. This application is built to provide the lowest latency possible, so we've created a multi-tier distributed architecture, including hot and cold data flows, live vertical scaling and other techniques. Project technology stack is Node.js, Nginx, RabbitMQ, Docker, MongoDB. - Time tracking software Around a year ago, we faced numerous issues with the third-party time tracking software — some solutions haven't got required functionality, some are too buggy for us, others are too expensive, so finally we decided to create own solution which will cover all our needs. During this year, we've made around a hundred releases of our web application , wrote two different desktop applications (old one on Kotlin/JVM, current one on Electron). Currently, we're focused on infrastructure and orchestration layers during preparation for our commercial launch. Our internal workflows fully based on Gitlab, starting from issue tracking, branching, and milestones (depends on the client requirements, we're using our SCRUM implementation or OpenUP-like methodology), continuing with Continuous Integration + Continuous Delivery/Deployment, and finishing with the releases and error tracking using Sentry integration.
