Waymaker Engineering’s purpose is to partner with clients to provide superior engineering and design services. Our target clients range from individuals and entrepreneurs to small startups and large companies. We design electronic products and support R&D efforts. Our projects generally consist of: *Schematic and PCB Design *Microcontroller firmware development and embedded system designs *Rapid prototyping *Electronic product development including: *Designs for manufacturing *Single application or small-batch designs (e.g. a custom tool or creative endeavor/artwork) Services Overview: *Schematic capture and component selection *Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Layout including multi-layer and high-frequency designs *Prototype Assembly and Construction *Microcontroller Firmware and VHDL Code Development *Debugging, Testing, and Design Verification *Software Development Our owner has over 10 years of experience designing electronics and PCBs, a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Electrical Engineering, and holds a Professional Engineering (PE) license with the State of Arkansas. We use Altium Designer for our projects. We have professional soldering equipment and a reflow oven. We've assembled many PCBs on-site, including both surface mount and through-hole components, built many prototypes, and reworked/modified many PCBs. We have oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools to assist in debugging.
