I design and create responsive WordPress websites for businesses and nonprofits. My strengths are clean design and website speed. My design process is iterative, with client feedback always welcome. I have written custom PHP page templates for WordPress child themes. I am skilled in CSS, HTML and SQL. I have developed many websites using the Divi theme from Elegant themes. It is well coded and well maintained. I have successfully completed many WordPress websites using other themes also, including Salient and BluChic themes. WooCommerce is my preferred ecommerce plugin. When it has run slowly, I have researched and made code modifications to fix the issues. I have customized the WooCommerce checkout process by collecting additional customer information and using table rate shipping. I have implemented payment gateways such as Stripe, Square and more. My most recent work includes implementing an online pre-order Farmer's Market using WCFM Marketplace for multi-vendor stores. I helped the farmers create products and configure their online stores. I supported an online conference with over 100 participants. Vidoes were live on Zoom and then posted to amazon s3 storage. Access was implemented using LearnDash LMS. I'm also using WooCommerce Memberships and MemberPress for different projects right now, also in the area of online education. Class bookings, event calendars, Gravity forms, donation pages and twitter feeds are all modules I have integrated with WordPress websites. I typically buy my domains from goDaddy and host on WP Engine. But I have worked with many other host platforms including BlueHost, HostGator, SiteGround and more. I have run successful SEO campaigns for clients that include a bakery, construction law firm, realtor, monument maker, and medical educator. I have maintained and upgraded clients websites as needed for over 8 years.
