Localization Specialist - Marketing and Business expertise

Hi there! :) I graduated in Marketing (Brazil) and Business Administration (Sweden), and I have been working in these fields since 2015. I have also worked as a researcher, mainly after doing my master's in Business Administration. My degrees are from Brazil and Sweden. I have studied at Halmstad University (Sweden) and have worked in Canada as an assistant manager in a coffee shop. My master thesis is regarding International Business. The fields I have worked with can be summed in: Marketing, Quantitative Research, International Business, Strategic Management, and Business Administration. By noticing my background, you can see that I needed to learn the English language, which has grown as my next passion. Therefore, I have some experience regarding the use of the English language and the learning process of a language. My experience with the English language started in 2012. I have lived abroad for a couple of years in Sweden and Canada. When I was back in Brazil, I began to work as an English teacher. I have been working as an English teacher since 2016. Putting that aside, I have also worked in the marketing department of companies that offered software as a service (SaaS). I have worked as a Digital Marketing Analyst for two companies, and I have also provided services as a translator. They mostly hired me to translate Brazilian-Portuguese manuals to English. Since then, I have acquired a taste for translation, and I do many jobs here and there. Nowadays, I am working as an English teacher and translator. I have contracts as a translator of web pages at the moment. I have been specializing in the localization process. Check it on my profile!

- Translation of an entire academic paper from Brazilian Portuguese to English. - It took me around two weeks to complete the translation. - The article was published in the best Marketing journal in Brazil, considered to be of high impact. - Proofreading was required to publish the article, and small changes were required from my translation. - The translation was complemented by the editor and considered to be of very high quality.
