Jana Sosnowski holds Master of Science in educational psychology and instructional technology, She spent the past 14 years in education, primarily in the secondary classroom teaching English and journalism. Sosnowski has also worked as a curriculum and training writer for a math remediation program, several test preparation programs and pilot and flight attendant training for a major airline.
A traditional instructional designer, she is trained in ADDIE and backward design. She can develop trainings ranging from HR and onboarding to technical guides and implementation. She is comfortable with the full scope of instructional design from storyboard to SME interview to content build. She is proficient in PowerPoint, iSpring, Camtasia and Articulate Rise. She has intermediate experience in Captivate and Articulate 360. She understands SCORM creation and has not met an LMS that she couldn't work with.
Through professional experiences, she has hands-on experience with project management and is able to assist with course and content development from ideation to QA and completion. Over the past 15 years, she has developed a strong network of ID professionals can call pull together a team to assist with a project of any size.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in print journalism from the University of Southern California and will always consider her first love to be writing.
