Architect, Interior designer

I'm an Interior Designer & Architect from Iasi, Romania. I love everything that has to do with Interior Design, Architecture and Architectural Visualization. I very much enjoy the creative process, the problem to solution path that combines intelligence and creativity, understanding human nature in order to offer an individualized solution to the client. I specialize in bringing ideas to life, combining a sharp eye for design with a passion for excellence. I have been in love with design ever since I’ve decided to follow a career in architecture, continuously evolving and learning. If college and experience have thought me one thing, it’s that the more complicated and complex the project, the more restrictions and clear functional necessities you have, the more interesting and innovative the solution becomes, springing out with an organic flow. The project becomes “alive” and the design- innate. This might sound very abstract, but architecture and space have a voice and a power of their own; our job, as designers, is to understand what the space is saying- light, shape, flow of function, relation between exterior and interior, communication with the other rooms- and juxtapose these spatial syntax with the necessities of the client. As a practice of my own, I aim to thoroughly comprehend, to a maximum extent, the client’s needs and expectations-both short term and long term. Depending on the family’s dynamic, the design’s aim is flexibility, the ability to adapt to new possible functions and sustain both the basic and complex necessities of the inhabitants. As such, I believe that a good line of communication with the client is vital for a viable design solution, thusly, after I analise the building plans, I usually open our collaboration with a rather basic questionnaire relationg to the use of space and an image test, as to establish a basic idea for the initial design- whether we need to incorporate as much as possible storage space, if we should make the design as minimal as possible or as multipurpose as possible, are we looking for flexibility of space or for a fixed function that will not change over time, are we after a neutral color palette or a combination of color accents, could we use wallpaper or paneling? etc.
