"!!! Unprofessional, Irresponsible, Incompetent, inconsiderate. I absolutely highly advise against working with Pradeep (Sandeep). I have been working with developers for 16 years and I have never worked with anyone like him. He promised me that he could work 2-3 a day during the week and 8 hours on both Saturday and Sunday. He worked 12 hours total over a period of 1 month. I clearly explained the tasks that needed to be completed and provided him with all of the information about my platform that were necessary and asked him to have a look at the platform and task list to understand how I would like to further develop the platform. He said he would only look at one task at a time and I had to explain each task numerous times before he could understand it. When it came to configuring something or testing something he would ask me to do it when he could login to the system himself and do it. He had no interest in understanding how the platform worked or even using it. I would ask him why it took so long to and we would state that he doesn't need this job or make a comment such as "this is working out". It was difficult to communicate with him as he has a strong accent and his interest often is very slow. I invested a great deal of time working with him explaining things which I have never had to do with a developer before. Finally I contacted a colleague who is a high level software engineer, manages developers and is also Indian and speaks Sandeep's language. After a few days he advised me to find a new developer as the clear list of tasks, hours and deadlines were not followed and he was almost never available. I have skype conversations and the work diary for the month if there is any dispute in these facts. I also checked his references initially and they recommended him. I now believe that these references must just be friends of his. He has a high rating and many contracts but many of these are very short and the fixed length contracts do not indicate how much time was spent on them so I believe these may have been created to build his resume or CV. I have a very big client that was waiting to run a nationwide program and I expressed this to Sandeep and the urgency. I lost a month and possibly an important client. I am truly shocked at his lack of professional, irresponsibility, and lack of any consideration or concern for a client's needs. This is the worst experience that I have ever had working with a developer in 16 years. Absolute frustration and disappointment and I hope this will not impact my business long term. You have been warned"

He came up with solutions we overlooked to problems we didn't know we had. It's really tough to find quality contractors online, even on oDesk, and I'm lucky that I found someone as talented as Sandeep. We WILL be working with him again."
