Trademark Attorney Experienced in All Aspects of Brand Protection

I'm an experienced trademark attorney and enjoy helping clients protect and grow their brand names through trademark registration and enforcement. My services include any combination of the following: Trademark Clearance Search -research US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) database, state registries, domain databases, social media sites, and general internet search for potentially conflicting trademarks -provide report summarizing findings and recommendation on how to proceed, identify potential red flags, and provide best options for registration Trademark Application -draft and file trademark applications with the USPTO based on use, intent to use, or foreign registrations/applications -properly drafting the description of goods and services -selecting correct classification number -selecting a strong specimen to show use of the trademark USPTO Follow-up -negotiating with USPTO examiners to resolve procedural issues to allow trademark applications to proceed to registration -submitting statements of use showing trademark use in commerce -submitting responses to USPTO Office Action refusals for genericness, mere descriptiveness, improper specimens, class descriptions, or likelihood of confusion Post Registration Maintenance Filings - Declaration of Use and/or Excusable Non-use under section 8 - Declaration of Use and/or Excusable Non-use and an Application for Renewal under sections 8 and 9 - Declaration of Incontestability under sections 15.
