Mechanical Engineer, specializing in design for 3D printing

I am an enthusiastic, Denver based mechanical engineer with an extensive background in design for manufacturing and the appropriate use of additive manufacturing technology. With over 13 years of industry experience, I'm passionate about designing exceptional and innovative products. Before I started freelancing, I was a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Aleph Objects and worked with a multidisciplinary team to produce several award winning 3D printers and accessories. Following that, I launched my own brand and line of niche products in the industrial 3D printing space, gaining experience with brand communication, crowdfunding and small scale production management. As a freelancer, I've had the opportunity to work with some fantastic clients producing everything from EV chargers and home battery systems to fitness equipment, college courses and medical devices. I run a small print farm in house for prototyping, including resin and oversized material extrusion printers. This helps reduce prototyping costs, speeds up the development process and allows the fastest iteration time possible when needed.
