Full-Stack Developer and DevOps Engineer

I'm Martin – a full-stack developer and DevOps engineer with 5 years of industry experience. I discovered coding and software systems design at the age of 17, and it's been my passion ever since. I'm dedicated to continuously improving my skills and delivering work that is both effective and impactful. My career has primarily focused on web development, where I've gained expertise in front-end technologies such as React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS – my personal favorites. I also have significant experience with React Native and am the creator, product owner, and sole developer of the Pray4UA app. On the backend, I specialize in building scalable, production-ready web applications. I have extensive experience with Node.js and Golang, as well as some familiarity with Python web frameworks. In addition to mastering specific technologies, I pride myself on creating well-structured REST APIs and designing systems that are scalable, well-tested, user-friendly, easy to manage, and future-proof. I enjoy working with relational databases. I'm able to write complex and efficient SQL queries when needed. I also have some experience with database administration. My primary expertise is with PostgreSQL, where I have extensive hands-on experience and a clear preference for using it in my projects. As an experienced DevOps engineer, I've worked extensively with AWS and GCP, as well as exploring other cloud providers. My DevOps expertise includes managing public cloud workloads, writing and optimizing automation scripts, implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions, using Ansible for configuration management, and containerizing workflows with Docker. Some of my notable achievements include: - Designed and implemented a multi-regional A/B testing system from the ground up, currently serving millions of users with a 95th percentile latency of less than 200ms. - Building automation management dashboards from the ground up for multiple companies. - Creating the platform for the Christians for Ukraine initiative, which includes a custom CMS, an integrated website, a reporting and statistics system for literature orders, an administration dashboard, and numerous other features. - Developed the Pray4UA mobile app, including the entire backend, using Supabase and React Native. More details about these projects can be shared during our interview. Beyond my technical expertise, I value honesty and openness in all my professional relationships. When I was freelancing, I occasionally encountered dishonest clients who tried to exploit my work without paying.
