I currently have 17 years of Human Resources experience and 7 years of payroll. My experiences are listed below.  Recruit, Interview, and hire hourly and salary personnel.  Process new hire background checks through ADP.  Conduct new hire orientation, safety training, and onboarding practices for all new hires.  Coordinate new hire performance reviews with supervisors and works with plant managers on annual reviews.  Maintain personnel files, including the filing of paperwork, purging to company guidelines, and keeping files neat and orderly for a compliance inspection.  E-Verify all new hires and submit new hire information to the States of Georgia, Tennessee, and Illinois.  Maintain and audit I-9s. Follow up with any upcoming expiration of IDs requiring re-verification before their expiration date to ensure legal compliance with Dept. of Homeland Security.  Communicate all federal, state, and local compliance issues to all employees.  Assist facility leadership and staff with day-to-day issues.  Assist employees with related concerns and matters including paycheck resolution, partial unemployment claims, pay rate questions, vacation balance inquiries, complaints and concerns of sensitive natures, and answering benefits questions.  Conduct investigation on inappropriate behavior and allegations against employees.  Provide necessary training and coaching to develop staff members as needed.  Ensure all new hires enroll in insurance benefits within their 90 days of employment.  Conduct open enrollment meetings with all employees and enter insurance elections in ADP as well as the insurance carrier’s website.  Processed terminations. Completed all necessary paperwork, including termination notice, GA Separation Notice, Cobra letters, and conducted exit interviews when possible.  Completed all required forms for Georgia and Tennesse Department of Labor as well as participated in Georgia and Tennesse Department of Labor Unemployment hearings  Process weekly payroll through ADP and report employees' weekly 401K contributions to Alerus.  Reconcile insurance billing to ensure accuracy.  Administer Personal leave, FMLA, and Military Leave per company guidelines while informing team members of rights and assignment of needed paperwork from the team member and any physicians.  Report and manage Workers' Compensation claims and maintain OSHA logs.  Create and update company policies and employee handbooks as needed.  Maintain weekly headcount, absenteeism, and turnover report.
