Electrical Engineer

I later pivoted to renewable energy industry, particularly solar energy generation (please refer to specialized Energy Engineering profile) I am listing down my core competencies in power systems engineering below: • ARC flash studies, impact studies, protection studies including relay coordination in ETAP • Load Calculations, cable sizing and component selection for power distribution. • Single Line Diagrams, Three Line Diagrams, schematics. • Cable selection, routing/wiring layouts based on electrical engineering fundamentals considering inductances, capacitances and bend angles for effective routing in building works. • Distribution Switchgear design schematics LT/HT upto 33kV • Circuit breaker selection; Icu and short circuit calculations. • Relay coordination with hands on experience in IDMT, Impedance Impluse relays and residual current monitors for ground fault detection. • Selection of instrumentation and control components for power distribution (CTs, PTs, Impulse relays) and designing I&M circuits. • Star-Delta Starter calculations and circuit design for motor-control. • LUX calculations and Lighting design using DIALux.
