I'm an expert at fixing issues with WordPress websites. I can both work with existing themes/plugins as well as write custom JavaScript and PHP code. I understand things on a technical level, and I'm a quick learner who can adapt to unusual setups and new situations. I have experience with multiple page builders, including Divi, Oxygen, Gutenberg, Elementor and Beaver Builder, and I can also work with custom HTML. I have an eye for design, can execute any desired change via custom CSS, and can do basic image editing. I can optimize sites for performance, SEO, and accessibility. I can update not only the plugins/themes on a WP site, but also the PHP version, patching any old plugins found to be incompatible. I am capable of working with server backend tools like WHM/cPanel and phpMyAdmin, and I can even write custom SQL. I've even contributed code to WordPress itself, and I have been listed as a noteworthy contributor on the "About" page of major releases 5.4 and 5.5. In total, I have had over 110 pull requests merged into the WordPress Gutenberg block editor project on GitHub. I have experience with multiple JavaScript libraries including React, Vue, and jQuery. I also have some experience with various other programming languages including Rust, Java, and Python, so I have a well-rounded knowledge of coding concepts. I always seek to solve things in the best way possible, preferring built-in controls over custom-coded solutions. But when custom code is required, I always write it with best practices and future-proofing in mind, and I carefully document my work for the benefit of those who come after me.
