In addition to my Upwork experiences, I am a contracted editor with Scarsdale Publishing where I edit fiction manuscripts through all stages of editing from first draft to publication. I specialize in fantasy, but I have experience with many different genres and can edit any genre of fiction. Editing Functions I Offer: Proofreading (Scanning a document for typographic or formatting errors) Copy Editing (Editing a document for grammar, punctuation, clarity, spelling, etc.) Line Editing (Improving the lyrical quality of sentences) Developmental Editing (Pointing out any major developmental issues in the structure/plot of the story) My Rates: These are my rates for all editing functions being performed simultaneously. Splitting these functions into multiple rounds of editing will drastically increase the quality of the manuscript at increased cost and time for project completion. $35/hour $250 for 50k words $5/1,000 words Timelines: You can expect to receive your edited manuscript within 5 business days or less from when our contract or current milestone becomes active and funded. +$50 to receive the edited manuscript within 1-2 business days. Note: I may increase my rates or the time expected for project completion based on the quality of the manuscript when I receive it.
