Thank you for viewing my profile! I started in graphic design working for my local newspaper which led to various magazine and design jobs. My first job in graphic design was with our local Hawaiian newspaper, "West Hawaii Today". I worked my way from a proof runner to a Sr. graphic designer within 14 months and absolutely loved it. I also worked in the editorial dept., writing reviews and content for "Ironman" a yearly triathlon on the Big Island of Hawaii. I designed the IRONMAN insert including ads, content, graphics, and template design. Upon moving back to the mainland, I was hired at the L.A. Times and was promoted to a Sr. designer my first year. I have designed several magazines including GIADA, SASE, AUTOWORLD, MONTESSORI, USPTA and many other publications specializing in Health and Beauty, Medicine, Technology, Automotive, Sports, and more. The past several years I have been designing social media ads, banners, posts and content for Amazon, FB, Instagram, Etsy, etc.
Whether designing postcards, banners or magazines, my enthusiasm and drive for each project is high. The most challenging jobs can be small projects and I enjoy working on those as much as the larger projects. I do substantial research for each company / client, and learn as much as I can about the business. I guarantee my designs 100%, if you are not completely happy with the finished project, I will revise it until you are.
