Hi, my name is Jon Flatt. Freelancing is my full-time job, and I speak English as a first language. I work with clients around the world and work to accommodate any time zone. I specialize in creating full scope Google systems to help manage small and start up businesses. I am a “wizard” with Google Sheets. I am a Google Add-On / Google Apps Script developer. I am a full stack developer (JS, HTML and CSS) meaning I can create attractive and highly functional Google Web Apps. My Web App capabilities range from custom forms to full service reports and Dashboards and much more. Additionally I am capable of integrating Google systems with 3rd party systems to create cohesion. I have 10 years of experience in small business Admin positions which gives me a unique and powerful skill stack. I understand the needs of small and start up businesses and work to create systems that cater to these needs. In addition to that I have been called a visionary when it comes to my ability to take a clients needs and apply them to systems in efficient and effective ways. I have a complete fascination with automation. For me the development process of systems that automate regularly occurring tasks makes me tick. It’s what drove me to this line of work and it’s what gets me up ready and excited to work each day. Seeing the systems come together and simplify my clients work load while allowing them to expand is incredibly rewarding for me. I often get asked about the handoff stage. When a system is complete if there is any manual interaction still required I will create both a video and a written tutorial as well as provide training, when needed. During my time in business admin positions I spent 4 years in a “fixer” role. Meaning I built protocol and systems to operate areas of the business that were dysfunctional. At the end of each of these I was instructed to pass them off so I developed a skill in creating systems that can be managed by anyone. Preventing me from being needed regularly after the development stage is complete. In the end my ultimate focus is the client. Your needs and vision will dictate the work and the results. If a client can’t use the system I create I consider it a fail and will work to correct this as I do not have any patience for anything other than top notch results. Cheers, Jon
