My extensive knowledge of current learning and development research and theory began while pursuing my master’s degree in psychology from Harvard. This knowledge drives my approach toward L&D, which involves heavy learner engagement, interactivity, gamification, and real-world applicability. My career began in editorial. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in English, I joined a magazine publishing company as the editor-in-chief. After that, I transitioned into the fashion industry for about 10 years living in Los Angeles and New York City. I predominately worked in streetwear, working for Undefeated, Supreme, and Kith. My roles mainly entailed marketing and brand partnerships with many big names such as Amex, Disney, Nike, Adidas, Coca-Cola, General Mills, Versace, Moncler, and more. I also worked for The Society as the Head of Brand Development, creating private brands for their roster of talent, including Kendall Jenner, Willow Smith, Russell Westbrook, and Adriana Lima. While my career in fashion and talent management was exciting and wildly educational, I felt a need to transition my career toward work I found more meaningful. I went back to school and received my master's degree in psychology from Harvard. During the last semester of graduate school, I launched my freelance L&D consulting business. The objective for my consulting business is to combine my expert writing skills, experience in marketing, and vast instructional design knowledge to provide cohesive learning experiences for all learners and effective training tools for my clients. I pride myself on customizing my services to meet each client’s needs and strong client satisfaction.
