From my very first job as a junior cover designer at HarperCollins to writing more than three hundred research-based educational articles for EBSCO and assisting with developing streamlined and consistent content for the Center for Creative Leadership, I have proven myself as a communications specialist. As an illustration major at Moore College of Art and Design, I fancied a long career as a children’s book illustrator. That plan quickly faded as I took up graphic design in NYC and soon moved on to accept a position as an art director for trade book covers in Massachusetts. Since those early days, I have had my hand in nearly every facet of publishing, including production, editorial, design, copy editing, accuracy checking, writing, and proofreading. While I still handle a certain amount of graphic design, most of my work life is focused on proofreading.
