I am currently a teacher by trade, but have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. I am most experienced in watercolor painting, but also create artwork with pencil, acrylic, digitally and various other media. When I was 19 years old, I started a custom watercolor painting business and have been successfully running that business on the side for 5 years now. I am looking to expand my experience into the realm of children's book illustrations. I am creative and have a deep passion for children's books. Due to the nature of my custom work, I am accustomed to working closely with customers to produce art that captures the feelings and ideas envisioned by the customer.
