I obtained my degree in Visual Communication from the Open Window Institute, with a focus on graphic design, photography and video. An important part of this included learning copywriting skills, and applying this to article writing and script writing. I am currently working as translator, transcriber and subtitler for various clients on a freelance basis. I have an interest in a wide range of subjects, have a very wide general knowledge, and am very passionate about reading. One of my favorite pastimes is attending and competing in quiz events. I have great research skills and can very quickly grasp concepts and context. I am fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans) and these were my two highest scoring subjects in school. I can easily translate between the two.
