I am a true Jackie of all trades with a very diverse skillset and background that has been working as a VA for five years (as a virtual administrative/executive/personal assistant) and a digital marketing/communications/PR assistant, freelance writer (of literally everything-content writing in particular), brand strategist, content creator, blogger, and social media marketer/manager for three years. In both types of roles, I have worked with clients and companies in a wide array of fields, from a nanny agency to a cleaning company to an entire brand consisting of many subdivisions, including a barber shop, event planning company, and independent hip-hop label. Though I love working with clients in all industries and learning about every field of business that I can, I consider my specialties to be VA and digital marketing/social media/writing work for small businesses and startups (as they are the foundation of our economy), real estate, and perhaps the subject that I am the most passionate about, law (helping to assist and do marketing work for law firms and attorneys). This is because I also happen to be a legal assistant/secretary with three years of experience; I actually discovered my unique ability to combine my natural gifts as a writer with my visual design skills and innovative approach to marketing to help law firms, and businesses in general, create successful marketing strategies, campaigns, and content- both traditionally and digitally. I was originally on the path to becoming an attorney and obtained my Associate's in Political Science in 2019, after which I interned at a law firm, worked as a legal secretary at a second law firm, and did some freelance legal assistance work during the pandemic. To this day, I am passionate about the field of law and continue to independently study various specialties of law and paralegal skills, so my knowledge, experience, and love for the legal field certainly help me to create great social media, website, and blog/newsletter content for law offices specializing in all types of law. I am currently in my final year of working on my Bachelor's from UMass Amherst remotely in an area of concentration related to digital marketing and communications with a specialzation in writing for marketing purposes and a minor in Political Science. Additionally, I do at least three hours of independent study per week to supplement my schoolwork, using books, webinars, online courses, and other resources to learn even more about digital marketing, administrative assistance, and legal assistance. My portfolio link is at the start of this paragraph and contains samples of websites and social media pages I have worked on as well as newsletters, blogs, articles, press releases, and other writing pieces I have created over the years. It also contains more information about some of the unique, innovative strategies and techniques I use that I have developed over the years that I utilize in my pages and pieces. I am eager to add more work of all kinds to my portfolio. More important than my work experience. education, and portfolio, however, is my ambitious, enthusiastic work ethic that I possess in addition to my unique and innovative "think outside the box" approach to all of my work and any task I am assigned. I have always said that I have to think outside the box because my creativity, determination, and positive, can-and-will-do attitude just won't fit into any box! Because most of my work has been virtual and communication with clients is not always straightforward, I have developed excellent multitasking, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills, and utilize both technology and hard copies of work to keep track of tasks. I maintain detailed notes, charts, and calendars on the computer, as well as a work-only planner, work-only notebook, tabbed accordion folder, and binders for special projects and tasks. My mission is to be there for my clients 24/7 and help them achieve their professional and personal goals as well as take their company to the next level, and I will do whatever possible to be that "right and left hand girl" for my admin, marketing, and writing clients. I am also very flexible when it comes to pay rates; the per hour prices listed are based on what I have typically been paid as well as the standard rate for someone with my experience and skill level, but I am open to negotiation. I am also open to being paid per piece, per word, or a standard rate (a specific amount every month or week). I am excited to learn more about you, your business/organization/brand, and your goals, whatever your needs may be, and discuss how I can not only help you to reach those goals, but to go above and beyond, so message me to schedule a video or phone call!Legal Writing

Formerly an Appellate Division law clerk, I sharpened my research and writing skills in the litigation department of one of New Jersey’s most influential law firms. In addition to my accomplishments in the legal profession, I have a background in medicine. At Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, I pursued my medical degree for over a year and a half and completed the majority of my pre-rotation coursework before leaving to focus on her legal career at Rutgers School of Law – Camden.
