With over 20 years of experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Animator, I bring a versatile creative perspective to every project. I hold a BFA from the Art Academy of Cincinnati with an emphasis in Illustration, a foundation that informs both my digital and traditional work. My background covers a broad commercial spectrum, providing my clients with well-rounded design solutions. This includes everything from brand identity and logos to packaging, print and web advertising, trade show displays, and product merchandising. Much of my work has been focused on assiting clients with self-publishing. To date, I have guided more than 30 titles—including children’s books, cookbooks, and self-help guides—through the entire production process. I offer hands-on expertise in cover art, interior layout, and navigation of platforms such as Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Mixam, and Barnes & Noble. Technically, I am highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects. I am a recent graduate with a Bachelors in Art Education. I have experience with a variety of media including: graphite, watercolor, acrylic, pastels, and mixed media. I have almost ten years of experience with drawing and painting. I have won Best of Show in two art competitions and one of my paintings was purchased by the University Museum. I am interested in developing my art portfolio through freelance work, especially with illustrations and portraiture. I have experience with figure drawing, color design, and narrative art that would apply to any illustration projects. I also learned how to employ the elements of art and principles of design to create an interesting and unified composition, which is something that I endeavor to include in all of my work.
