We are seeking a highly motivated Fractional Project Engineer to assist with project operations and administration for our growing concrete contracting company. Our current target market includes light commercial construction such as multifamily, educational, convenience retail, industrial, and similar projects. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, submit, and maintain RFI and submittal logs. * Coordinate scopes of work with subcontractors and assist in confirming project-specific compliance requirements. * Work closely with project superintendents to support field operations and maintain required project documentation. * Organize and manage project files, drawings, correspondence, and records throughout the duration of each project. * Assist with project closeout activities, punch list tracking, and final documentation. * Draft and manage project correspondence with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and our internal team. * Track project documentation, including permits, inspections, subcontracts, material submittals, and compliance requirements. * Support project managers with scheduling, procurement, and coordination efforts as needed. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in commercial construction, preferably with concrete or self-perform trades. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. * Proficient with Microsoft Office, PDF software, and cloud-based file management systems. * Self-starter capable of working independently in a fractional or part-time capacity.
