About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to help lead execution during a critical 90-day organizational transition. This is not a traditional project management role, nor is it simply a scheduling or coordination position. The successful candidate will become an extension of the organization's execution capacity—helping transform Board direction into completed work while reducing the operational burden on executive leadership. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and serves as a strategic partner to the COO in coordinating organizational priorities established by the Board of Directors. The role will work closely with the Board Chair, outside legal counsel, consultants, finance, communications partners, and Board members to help drive multiple strategic initiatives to completion. What Success Looks Like Success is not measured by how many meetings you schedule. Success is measured by your ability to remove work from the plates of executive leadership and help the organization move complex initiatives from idea to execution. You should naturally ask yourself: What can I take off the COO's plate? What can I take off the Board's plate? What can I own from beginning to end? What information can I synthesize before leadership has to read it? What problem can I solve before it becomes an issue? Responsibilities You will help execute strategic initiatives across several workstreams, including: Governance Board transition Legal coordination Communications Organizational planning Finance coordination Strategic initiatives Responsibilities include: Drive multiple strategic workstreams simultaneously. Translate Board decisions into executable project plans. Coordinate activities between leadership, legal counsel, consultants, and Board members. Read complex legal, governance, financial, and organizational documents and prepare concise executive summaries. Draft agendas, Board materials, presentations, project updates, and decision documents. Research unfamiliar topics and present organized recommendations. Coordinate outside vendors and consultants. Build and maintain project plans, timelines, decision logs, and action registers. Identify risks, dependencies, and issues before they become problems. Follow initiatives through to completion—not simply coordinate meetings. Perform hands-on work wherever appropriate rather than simply assigning work to others. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: Has 7+ years of project or program management experience. Thinks strategically while remaining execution-oriented. Enjoys bringing order to complex situations. Is intellectually curious and learns quickly. Can synthesize large amounts of information into clear executive summaries. Writes exceptionally well. Is highly organized without becoming bureaucratic. Can work independently with minimal supervision. Exercises sound judgment. Takes ownership of outcomes rather than waiting for direction. Preferred Experience Experience working with one or more of the following is highly desirable: Executive leadership teams Boards of Directors Outside legal counsel Finance or accounting teams Organizational governance Communications or public affairs initiatives Cross-functional strategic projects Nonprofit experience is helpful but not required. Tools Experience with tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet,

Part-time Project Manager – Custom Research (Futurum Research) About The Futurum Group Futurum Research, part of The Futurum Group, delivers independent, data-driven insights to help technology leaders make better decisions. Our work spans custom research, market intelligence, and thought leadership across enterprise technology, with a focus on providing objective, analyst-led perspectives to clients. Futurum’s custom research work is commissioned by leading technology vendors (Fortune 500 and quickly-growing startups) across industries and technology sectors, helping to guide their internal strategy, educate the market, and demonstrate their value—based on a foundation of objective, independent data, analysis, and research analyst leadership. Role Overview Futurum Research is seeking a part-time Project Manager to support the execution of select custom research and client-facing engagements. This role is ideal for someone who excels at managing streamlined, fast-turn projects while maintaining a high standard of client experience and operational rigor. The Project Manager will focus on quick-turn, short-form deliverables and engagements, including subscription-based market briefs, analyst speaking engagements, and general PM administrative support (e.g., project and project channel setup, reporting). Success in this role requires strong communication skills, comfort in client-facing situations, and the ability to keep projects moving efficiently from intake through delivery. Futurum’s core value proposition includes providing a fast, turnkey experience paired with class-leading authority and insights; our PM is the front line and must embody these core tenets in their work and style. Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Management • Manage end-to-end delivery of client-facing custom research projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met. • Coordinate logistics and execution for analyst and leadership speaking engagements (e.g., briefings, webinars, events). • Track project milestones, manage deadlines, and ensure smooth internal coordination across analysts, editorial, and design teams. • Oversee primary research engagements on occasion (surveys, interview recruitment, etc), such as questionnaire drafting & vendor management. • Manage written and verbal client feedback to drafts, such as: accepting, rejecting, or flagging requested edits; consolidating feedback notes or messaging documents; triaging with analyst authors, copyeditors, or the practice lead. Client Engagement & Intake • Serve as a primary point of contact for select client engagements • Lead project intake calls to clarify scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables • Translate client needs into clear internal briefs and actionable next steps • Coordinate internal teams to develop hypotheses and content outlines, align research design content and sample, and secure client approval • Maintain a professional, responsive, and solutions-oriented client experience Project Setup & Operations • Support project kickoff and setup processes, including documentation, timelines, and resource coordination • Ensure consistency with Futurum Research workflows, templates, and quality standards • Identify opportunities to streamline execution for repeatable, lower-complexity engagements • Draft and refine clear, high-quality project management slide decks, project documentation, and project plans. • Take notes, articulate action items, document learnings, and send follow-up emails and Slack messages based on internal and client calls. Qualifications • 3–6+ years of experience in project management, preferably in research, consulting, marketing, or agency environments • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent, fast-turn projects with minimal oversight • Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to lead intake and discovery conversations • Very strong English-language writing skills. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through. • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (i.e., analysts, writers, designers, marketing) • Familiarity with research deliverables (e.g., briefs, reports, webinars) is a plus Tools & Working Environment • Experience with collaboration and workflow tools such as Google Workspace, Salesforce, TaskRay, and Slack is preferred but not required • Comfort learning and operating within integrated, multi-tool workflows is important • Interest and experience leveraging AI tools (Gemini, Claude, AI Studio, etc), prompts, and automation, with an understanding of AI capabilities and their risks — and an eye for critical review. • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment, including strong written communication and proactive coordination across time zones Preferred Attributes • A highly authoritative, professional style focused on driving action and urgency with clients and colleagues in a respectful but effective way. Speed & turnkey experience are foundational to Futurum’s work; our PM must embody these virtues to drive action. • Experience in technology research, analyst firms, or B2B content environments • Ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities • Strong judgment in poorly defined areas, distinguishing complexity vs. standard approaches, and escalating issues and decisions appropriately. • Proactive mindset with a focus on improving process efficiency and client experience • Skill in design, formatting, and proofing of slide decks to ensure clarity, quality, and visual impact. • English-language direct copy editing and feedback consolidation skills, with the support of formal style guides and review tools. Senior Technical Project Manager, Healthcare Remote, U.S. (Los Angeles preferred) About the role We are looking for a technical project manager with product aspirations to join Sidebench, an LA-based digital product studio that designs and builds custom software, with a focus on healthcare and mission-driven work. This is not a ticket-running PM seat and it is not an IT delivery role. You will own the hard part of our engagements: running discovery well enough that the build is de-risked before a line of code is written. You will sit between our clients, our design team, and our engineering team (including offshore partners), shape what gets built, and stay accountable for shipping it. You will run 2 to 4 concurrent engagements at any time and be the named person in the client room, not a voice behind a PMO. If you want variety, autonomy, and real ownership of outcomes, this is built for that. If you want a single-product, governance-heavy, predictable seat, this is not it. What you will do -Lead product discovery: stakeholder and user research, problem framing, and turning ambiguity into a clear, scoped plan. -Facilitate client workshops and working sessions, not just status meetings. -Own scoping and estimation: turn a discovery into a realistic plan, budget, and timeline. -Drive delivery: budget and timeline ownership, risk management with proposed mitigations, and coordination across design and engineering, including offshore teams across a timezone gap. -Make and chase technical decisions with healthy diligence. You will not have to write the code, but you will need to know enough to be dangerous and to push back when something does not add up. -Use AI to make the delivery process better, not just to produce individual deliverables. Improving how we work is part of the job. What we are looking for -5+ years running software projects, with a track record of shipping custom software (designed and built for the client), not configuring or implementing a vendor platform. -A genuine interest in healthcare and/or social-impact work, with at least some exposure to it. Deep healthcare experience is a plus, not a requirement. -Real product instinct: you have run discovery, shaped solutions, and influenced what got built. You think in user problems, not just scope and dates. -Technical fluency: you understand the technical tradeoffs well enough to facilitate them and to keep a team honest. -Client-facing maturity: you can lead a room, manage stakeholders, deliver hard news early, and push back appropriately. -Comfort running multiple concurrent engagements and coordinating cross-functional and offshore teams. Dealbreakers (please read before applying) -A background that is purely IT (infrastructure, ITSM/helpdesk, ERP or EHR configuration, vendor implementations) with no custom software design and development experience is not a fit for this role. -This is a hands-on, accountable seat. If your experience is primarily PMO governance or program oversight without ownership of what shipped, this will not be the right match. Application Include a short portfolio or 2 to 3 project examples, and a few sentences on why this role interests you. We read these. Total Compensation Sidebench offers rapid career advancement and significant ownership of both product and business initiatives for high-achieving individuals. Total comp: $120,000–$200,000

We’re looking for a high-agency Consulting Project Manager who can take ownership of complex client engagements and drive them to completion without hand-holding. This is not a coordination role. This is an execution role. You will be responsible for managing multiple consulting projects across digital transformation, AI/automation, and operational improvement initiatives. You must be comfortable operating in ambiguity, pushing clients, and ensuring things actually get done. What You’ll Do Own end-to-end delivery of consulting projects from kickoff to completion Translate vague business requirements into clear execution plans Drive timelines, enforce accountability, and remove blockers proactively Work directly with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams Manage cross-functional workflows (engineering, data, operations) Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet a high standard Identify risks early and course-correct without escalation Keep communication tight, direct, and outcome-focused What We’re Looking For 3–7+ years experience in consulting, project management, or operations Proven track record of actually delivering projects, not just managing meetings Strong ability to operate independently without constant direction Experience working with technical teams (engineering, data, automation) Comfortable in fast-paced, unstructured environments Excellent communication skills with a bias toward clarity and brevity High ownership mindset.
