Senior Full-Stack Developer — WordPress, Web Ops & Workflow Automation Tax Relief Helpers helps individuals and businesses resolve tax debt and IRS issues. Our websites are the front door of our business — they drive our lead generation and run our paid and organic marketing. We're looking for a senior developer to own that web stack end to end and help us tighten the operations behind it. This is a full-time (~40 hrs/week), ongoing, remote role with real autonomy. We want someone who can diagnose problems, propose solutions, and ship them without heavy supervision. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own our WordPress sites (on WP Engine): keep them fast, secure, and up to date — themes, plugins, updates, backups, performance. Build responsive landing pages and site sections that convert visitors into leads, and run A/B tests to improve them. Own conversion tracking and integrations: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, ad pixels (Google, Meta, Microsoft), call tracking, and form-to-CRM connections. Evaluate our workflows: audit how work moves through our tools, document it, and automate the manual, repetitive steps. Protect the stack: secure forms, SSL, access controls, and reliable backups for sensitive customer data. Support technical SEO: Core Web Vitals, page speed, structured data/schema, clean markup. REQUIRED SKILLS (please only apply if you can show real work in each) 7+ years building and maintaining production WordPress sites — child themes, plugins, PHP, page builders (Elementor and/or Gutenberg). WP Engine a strong plus. Solid HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs. Proven track record building responsive, high-converting landing pages and running A/B tests. Hands-on with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking/pixels for Google, Meta, and Microsoft ads. Experience connecting forms and web apps to CRMs via APIs, webhooks, or Zapier/Make, and scripting automations (JavaScript/Node or Python). Secure handling of sensitive/PII data, SSL, and least-privilege access. Git version control and a disciplined staging-to-production workflow. Technical SEO fundamentals (Yoast familiarity a plus). NICE TO HAVE Experience in lead-generation, financial services, or a tax/legal business. Modern JS framework (React), headless WordPress, or custom API development. Basic DevOps — monitoring, uptime alerts, CDN configuration. HOW TO APPLY In your proposal, please answer these and include links to 2–3 sites you've built or manage (proposals without work samples won't be considered): Which WordPress sites have you built or managed (ideally on WP Engine or similar)? Share links. Describe a manual workflow you automated — what tools did you use, and what was the result? How do you approach conversion tracking and analytics for a lead-gen website? How would you spend your first two weeks auditing our sites and workflows? What's your weekly availability, timezone, and expected rate? Rate: $60-$80/hr depending on experience

Tolliver Accounting Group is looking for an experienced web designer to completely redesign our website and migrate it from Shopify to WordPress. Our current site is very basic, and we're looking for a full overhaul — not a like-for-like rebuild — resulting in a polished, professional, fully functional site that reflects an established accounting firm. What you'll do: Design and build a completely new website on WordPress that reflects an established accounting/professional services firm — clean, credible, modern, and easy to navigate Redesign existing pages (services, about, contact, etc.) with improved layout, structure, and messaging — this is a full redesign, not a reskin of current content Migrate our existing domain from Shopify to WordPress, ensuring no downtime or loss of existing SEO value where possible Set up basic on-page SEO fundamentals (meta titles, descriptions, page structure) Ensure the site is mobile-responsive and loads quickly Provide basic training or documentation so we can make minor updates ourselves after launch What we're looking for: Proven experience with both website redesign and Shopify-to-WordPress migration specifically (not just general WordPress builds) A strong design portfolio — we want to see real design sensibility, not just technical migration skill Experience with domain transfers/DNS changes and a clear understanding of how to avoid downtime or broken links during the switch A portfolio of professional services or B2B websites (accounting, legal, financial, consulting, etc. preferred) Familiarity with basic SEO best practices Clear communicator who can walk us through technical steps in plain language, since this isn't our area of expertise Engagement details: One-time project (not ongoing) Pricing: Please propose your fixed project price in your proposal, based on the full scope described above (design + migration). Include what's included at that price (number of pages, revision rounds, post-launch support, etc.) To apply: Please share 2-3 examples of websites you've personally designed (ideally WordPress sites for professional services businesses), and let us know if you've handled a Shopify-to-WordPress migration before. Since this includes a full redesign, please also speak to your design approach and process, not just the technical migration steps. Include your proposed fixed price, what's included in that price, and your estimated timeline from start to launch. To confirm you've read this posting in full, please start your proposal with the word "Migrate." Applications without it will not be considered.

I recently moved my website (makecreatemore.com) from one host (A Small Orange) to another (Porkbun Cloud WordPress), using Porkbun's built-in migration tool. The old hosting was a WordPress multisite network, and makecreatemore.com was a subsite (not the primary domain). The migration only brought over the primary site's content, so makecreatemore.com is now live on Porkbun but completely empty — no posts, pages, or media. I have a full cPanel backup downloaded from the old host (includes a database SQL export and the site files). What I need: Identify which site ID / database tables within the multisite backup correspond to makecreatemore.com Extract that site's content (posts, pages, media, any custom post types) from the backup Migrate/import that content into the new Porkbun WordPress site (which is a standalone, non-multisite install) Make sure media files and internal links/images point correctly to the new site I'm not very technical, so I'd appreciate someone who can walk me through what they're doing and confirm the result with me before considering it done.
