We are seeking a skilled video editor to help create engaging Instagram reels from provided footage. The project involves using a pre-defined template we provide and adding captions and some b-roll to mostly talking head videos. See the sample link below. Music from the free youtube library can be used. Your creativity and attention to detail will ensure that the final product is polished and aligns with our branding. Some of the reels require using green screen footage, we will provide the regular footage and the clip with the background removed so it's faster to edit. If you have experience in editing for social media and can deliver high-quality results quickly, we want to hear from you! Must use premiere pro on a mac and be able to provide the exported reel, as well as the premiere project and all assets, once completed. We'd prefer an editor who is available for quick responses to questions within the hours of 9am-5pm PST. The rate is $35 per reel, and they vary from :30 seconds to :90 seconds long. Our past editors can get these done in roughly 45 minutes to just over an hour depending on the reel. We expect a video to be edited 24 hours after the footage is provided. We usually send footage for many reels at once 5-10 reels to be edited over the next couple days. Please send me a link to any reels or social media content you've edited, and let me know if you have any questions.

I run a YouTube channel focused on personal finance and tax planning, and I'm looking for a reliable editor to handle ongoing weekly content. I'm a CPA creating practical, educational videos — think IPO equity comp, Roth vs. Traditional 401(k), Social Security, and similar topics — and I need an editor who can make talking-head content engaging and easy to follow. What you'll be editing: Long-form videos (5–8 min) — guides and comparison videos Shorts (under 60 sec) — vertical, fast-paced, hook-driven What I'm looking for: Clean cuts that keep pacing tight and remove dead air On-screen text and simple graphics to reinforce key points (dollar amounts, comparisons, takeaways) Relevant B-roll and stock footage to break up talking-head segments Captions/subtitles A strong sense of retention editing — keeping viewers watching Bonus: experience with finance, business, or educational channels Workflow: I'll provide raw footage, a script, and notes on key on-screen text Expecting roughly 2 videos per week Looking for someone dependable for the long term, not a one-off project To apply: Share 2–3 examples of YouTube videos you've edited (finance/educational a plus) Briefly tell me what you'd do to improve retention on a talking-head finance video Let me know your rate (per video or hourly) and typical turnaround time I value clear communication and consistency. If you're someone who takes ownership of quality and hits deadlines, this could be a great long-term fit. A youtube channel I like is: https://www.youtube.com/@jasoncpa and

Overview I'm a keynote speaker, tech founder, and researcher, and I need a polished 90-second sizzle reel (with a longer 2–2.5 minute cut as well) built from existing footage. This reel will be used to book paid speaking engagements with corporations, conferences, and universities, so it needs to look sharp, confident, and high-end. I have raw footage, talk recordings, and a podcast clip ready to hand over via Google Drive. Your job is to turn that into a reel that makes a booker immediately want me on their stage. What you'll be editing You'll have a Google Drive folder with all my footage and images. I'm not going to tell you how to cut it — I'd rather you watch everything and bring your best. Below is just a contents list so you know what's in there, plus a couple of files to skip. Video footage (in the folder) "So Ambitious" podcast (MOV) — 165,000+ views (my most-watched clip) Pacific Rim Conference keynote — full video with drone footage / high production value Black Ambition Demo Day livestream — the pitch where I won the $1M grand prize Harvard University talk — "inaccessibility vs. the disability market" ASU+GSV panel and National Parents Union panel Institutional language clip (from TikTok) — my newest topic Neurodiversity talk "After an autism diagnosis, the first thing I tell families" Black excellence panel Live morning show (full) and Fox 40 / budget shortfalls segment Funding / "gate-openers" clip, acceptance speech, IEP process explainer, and several B-roll clips of me Images (in the folder) Headshots · me on Fox 40 · me on the morning show · National Parents Union panel · me in front of Stanford · me and my daughter · AERA 2026 promo ("Computational Analysis of IEP Language and Family Voice") · Black Ambition check photo. Your approach Watch the footage, find the moments that hit hardest, and build the strongest reel you can. Surprise me. If it works, I'll trust your instincts on future cuts too. The only hard rule: open with a hook, not a slow logo intro. Deliverables Primary cut: 90-second sizzle reel Extended cut: 2–2.5 minute version Project files / source file so future clips can be added without rebuilding from scratch Formatted for both landscape (16:9) and a vertical/square (9:16 or 1:1) version for social What makes a strong reel (please read) Open with a hook in the first 3–5 seconds — a strong line or moment on stage, not a slow logo intro Fast, rhythmic pacing; short clips that build energy Clean lower-thirds with my name, title, and topic Include 2–3 short on-screen quotes or credibility markers (I'll provide these) Light, tasteful background music (licensed/royalty-free only) Color-corrected, clean audio, professional captions/subtitles End on a clear call-to-action card (booking/contact info I'll provide) What I'll provide Google Drive folder with all raw footage and clips My name, titles, keynote topics, and credibility stats for on-screen text Logo and any brand colors The contact/CTA info for the end card Credibility markers to feature on-screen You can pull the logos and confirm all the outlets, stages, and awards directly from my Press & Speaking page — everything is listed and linked there: https://antoinetterbanks.com/press-speaking Build in a fast "as seen in" logo sequence and/or lower-third callouts using what's on that page. To apply, please include 2–3 speaker reels or sizzle reels you've edited (this is required — general video work isn't the same skill) A one-line note on how you'd open my reel to hook a booker Your turnaround time and your quote for the full deliverable set Confirmation you only use licensed/royalty-free music Budget & timeline Budget: 300-500 Timeline: Looking for a first draft within 5–7 days, with 1–2 rounds of revisions included Please quote revisions if you charge separately About working with me Clear brief, fast responses, prompt payment. The finished reel will be embedded on my website (antoinetterbanks.com) and used in booking pitches, so it needs to be web-ready and social-ready. If this first reel goes well, I book paid speaking engagements regularly and will need updated cuts as new footage comes in — so I'm looking for someone I can build a long-term relationship with, not a one-off.

We are an established content creation team looking for a highly skilled, creative, and passionate Video Editor to join us. We currently operate with a dedicated Producer and Director, and we are missing the final piece of our puzzle: a storytelling editor who can take raw, high-quality footage and transform it into a cinematic masterpiece. Our primary upcoming project is a brand-new channel called Will It Hold Labs? which focuses on highly visual, data-driven stress tests, material experiments, and creative builds (starting heavily with LEGO mechanics, but scaling into a massive variety of materials). We are looking for an editor who can blend crisp, high-speed cinematic visuals with engaging, structured storytelling. Note: We have multiple other YouTube brands currently in development. If we find the right fit, this has the potential to turn into a long-term, multi-channel partnership. The Visionary Editor: We don’t just want a "button pusher." We need someone who can see the blueprint of what we are trying to create, match our intended vibe, and then inject their own artistic flair. We want you to see creative angles, pacing, and visual jokes/hooks that we might have missed in production. Dynamic Range: You should be a master of pacing—knowing when to let a beautiful, slow-motion cinematic shot breathe with rich sound design, and when to cut tightly to maximize viewer retention. Deliverables: * Long-Form Content: 8 to 30-minute highly engaging episodic videos. Short-Form Content: Highly optimized, fast-paced YouTube Shorts (up to 90 seconds) pulled from our main concepts. Work Whenever You Want: You own your schedule. As long as deadlines are met with exceptional quality, we do not care what hours you spend editing. On-Call Availability: Because production and strategy can pivot quickly, we need an editor who is relatively flexible and available for off-the-cuff questions, sync calls, or strategy alignment. Ideally, you should be reachable between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM (Mountain Time) for occasional random phone calls or quick check-ins. Software Mastery: Must be highly proficient in DaVinci Resolve Studio. (Please do not apply if you only use Premiere, Final Cut, etc.—our workflow is entirely built around DaVinci Resolve Studio). Proven experience editing highly engaging long-form YouTube content and vertical Shorts. Mastery of sound design (layering crisp SFX, balancing background tracks, and timing audio to visual payoffs). Strong color grading skills to elevate raw footage into a polished, premium product. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego attitude.

I'm looking for a skilled US-based video editor to handle post-production on a project for a government agency client. This is one project to start, with strong potential for an ongoing partnership — I subcontract my editing and specifically need someone domestic to handle sensitive clients. -The Project- Multiple deliverables built from existing footage and a storyboard I'll provide. You'll have more creative freedom than a typical edit gig — I want someone who can take my vision and improve on it, not just execute it line by line. Deliverables - Multiple long-form videos (1–3 minutes each) - Social cutdowns derived from the long-form pieces (15–45 seconds) What I Need You to Do - Edit footage into polished, engaging pieces - Add VFX and SFX where it elevates the story - Create motion graphics for the social cutdowns (required) - Bring creative ideas to the table — improve the storyboard, don't just follow it Required - Based in the US (non-negotiable for this client) - Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve - Strong portfolio in narrative or branded video post-production - Solid motion graphics skills Optional - Color grading — I'm flexible here. You can grade the deliverables, or I'll request project files and handle it on my end.
