OVERVIEW We're a full-service digital marketing & engineering agency seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior SEO specialist to own SEO delivery across a portfolio of B2B, lead-generation, e-commerce and local clients. This is an ongoing engagement — not a one-off project — and it combines both strategy and implementation. You'll set direction AND do the work. You'll run SEO end-to-end across multiple accounts: audits, keyword and competitor research, on-page and technical execution, content briefs, local SEO, backlink hygiene, and monthly reporting — while communicating confidently with clients and collaborating with our internal content and development teams. Several of our clients operate in complex, multi-stakeholder, enterprise environments, so the ability to navigate that context is essential. WHAT YOU'LL DO (you own the doing, not just the review) - Technical SEO audits and fixes — crawl, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema - Keyword research, search-intent mapping, and competitor analysis (cross-referenced across Ahrefs AND SEMrush) - Build content outlines/briefs — query networks, TF-IDF, N-grams, entities — and collaborate with our content team to bring them to publication - On-page optimization — titles, H1s, metadata, internal linking, content structure - GEO / AI-search (AIO) optimization to win inclusion in AI overviews and answer engines - Local SEO — Google Business Profile management and posts, geo-location reporting (BrightLocal) - Off-page — backlink profile monitoring, linkbuilding (as required or using our partners), and toxic backlink disavow - Analytics & tracking — GA4, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity setup and monitoring - Monthly client reporting — rank tracking, traffic, opportunities, risks, and recommendations - Join client calls or emails when needed to provide strategic clarity and reassurance - Track algorithm updates and ranking trends, and refine processes with our team leads WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Extensive hands-on SEO experience with proven B2B (multi-channel, enterprise-level) AND B2C lead-generation results - Strong technical, on-page, off-page and content-strategy capability — and willing to execute, not just advise - Comfortable owning multiple accounts in parallel with reliable, consistent turnaround - Confident communicator who can explain SEO clearly to non-technical stakeholders - Proficient with Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, Search Console, Screaming Frog, BrightLocal (or close equivalents) - Understands how SEO connects to paid, content and development workstreams in complex environments - Reliable, collaborative, and responsive across internal and client communications ENGAGEMENT Ongoing contractor engagement.
