I’m looking for an experienced hands-on electronics/prototype builder to create a rough but functional demo model for BaseKase, a phone case product with built-in audio amplification and a required wood/acoustic component. The design will be provided, but you have creative freedom over the build methods. The goal is to build a working investor/demo prototype, not a polished consumer-ready product. The general design direction is as follows: the prototype should function as a phone case assembly with raised grip ridges, integrated audio electronics, and a wood/resonant panel element that is part of the physical sound and enclosure structure. The prototype can use off-the-shelf electronics, including a small amplifier board, rechargeable battery/power module, etc. The enclosure will likely involve a combination of 3D-printed or hand-built parts, with the wood component integrated into the assembly. I need someone who can physically assemble, troubleshoot, test, and ship a working prototype. Please do not apply if you only provide CAD files, renderings, or schematics. I’m looking for someone with hands-on experience building small electronics prototypes, audio devices, battery-powered products, speaker/exciter assemblies, and/or rough physical product demos. Deliverables should include a working prototype, basic wiring layout or schematic, parts list/BOM, build photos or videos, notes on what worked and what should change in the next version, and the final prototype shipped to me. Contact me about pricing. This is a milestone-based project. If the first prototype goes well, there may be follow-up work for a cleaner V2 model. Please share examples of physical electronics prototypes you have personally built, especially if they involve audio, speakers, battery-powered devices, wood/acoustic materials, or small consumer product enclosures.

3D CAD Modeling of a Load-Bearing Clip — Ready for 3D Printing Project Overview: I have a detailed 2D drawing with full measurements for a new product called "the load-bearing clip." I need this converted into an accurate, print-ready 3D CAD model. The part needs to hold up structurally under load, so precision and correct tolerances matter. Scope of Work: - Convert the provided 2D drawing (with dimensions) into a fully modeled 3D CAD file - Ensure the design is optimized and validated for 3D printing (wall thickness, overhangs, tolerances, etc.) - Confirm the model meets the load-bearing requirements noted in the drawing - Provide the final files in STL format for printing, plus a native/editable format (STEP, SLDPRT, or similar) - One to two rounds of revisions are included based on my feedback Deliverables: - Print-ready STL file - Editable native CAD file (STEP or equivalent) - Brief notes on recommended print settings/material if you have expertise there (not required, just a bonus) Requirements: - Proven experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) - Experience designing parts specifically for 3D printing, not just general CAD modeling - Understanding of tolerances and structural/load-bearing design considerations - Ability to work from a hand-dimensioned drawing and ask clarifying questions if anything is unclear - Portfolio examples of similar print-ready mechanical or functional parts (please share with your proposal) Timeline: 2-3 weeks from project start to final delivery, including revisions. Budget Fixed price: $250-$350. Open to discussing scope if the part turns out to be more complex than expected once you review the drawing. To Apply Please include: 1. A few examples of past CAD work involving functional/mechanical parts designed for 3D printing 2. Your estimated turnaround time within the 2-3 week window 3. Any questions about the drawing before we get started

Description: I'm launching a novelty golf product and need a manufacturing-ready 3D CAD file created from a concept render and written spec. The product: A golf divot repair tool shaped like a stylized hand/fist with the middle finger extended (humorous novelty item). It includes a bottle-opener head at the top and two divot-repair prongs at the base. In the center of the handle, there's a small circular magnetic ball marker insert (separate piece, magnetically removable) bearing our logo. Two pieces needed: The main tool body (hand/fist + bottle opener + divot prongs) A small circular magnetic ball marker insert (~20–25mm diameter) that seats into a recess in the handle Requirements: Final files in both .STEP and .STEP and .STL formats Designed for zinc alloy die casting (correct draft angles, minimum 2mm wall thickness) Overall tool length ~90–100mm Recess/seat designed for a magnet or steel disc insert so the marker piece sits flush and is held magnetically Clean, manufacturable surfaces — no overly complex undercuts 4+ rendered preview images (front, back, side, 3/4 view) of the assembled product What I'll provide: A reference concept image A detailed written design brief with dimensions and style notes Budget: $150–350 depending on experience, with 2 rounds of revisions included. Ideal freelancer: Has experience designing products for die casting or injection molding (not just rendering/visualization work). Portfolio should include real manufactured products, not just architectural or animation projects. Please share relevant past work in your proposal, and confirm you can deliver both .STEP and .STL formats.
