Our YouTube Channel, LMAk, is less than 3 years old, 20 million views and 30,000 subs. We are a Christian based outdoor adventure channel in Alaska. We are looking for an Editor to help us create new longs and shorts from our new content ideas and from our list of several hundred posted shorts and pull from a long form video playlist of 120 videos with new videos every week. You must be located in the USA or Canada and be willing and able to conduct video conference calls for the interview process and collaboration. Samples of your work are also required. I am a band director, composer, and freelance percussion educator developing a professional video curriculum for instruction. I need an experienced video editor to help me establish a reliable workflow and then edit an ongoing series of lesson videos. (https://tapspace.com/artist/eric-rath/) Project Overview: Each lesson video will feature two simultaneous camera angles — a front-facing talking-head shot (Canon EOS R10) and an overhead shot (iPhone) showing the player's perspective of the instrument. The overhead angle will be used as an occasional picture-in-picture (PIP) element within the main video. Audio will come from a Bluetooth mic attached to the iPhone. Audio is also being captured on the main front-facing camera. What I Need: Clean, professional output suitable for educational curriculum use/initial Proof of Concept for my publisher. Clear communication about file delivery preferences so I can set up my recording workflow correctly from the start. Some basic graphics/artwork that will allow for some music notation to be shown and possibly animated on screen. (e.g. Show four 16th notes, but only highlight three of them, etc. -- to accompany verbal instruction.) First Step – Paid Trial Project: Before committing to the full series, I would like to hire you for a short paid trial edit using a test recording. This will allow me to verify that my recording setup produces usable footage and audio, and confirm that we work well together before the full project begins. Ideal Candidate: Demonstrated experience with multi-camera educational or tutorial content. Comfortable with PIP workflows. Responsive communicator who can advise on file formats and delivery specs. A robust music background to help more intuitively understand how to edit within the framework of the instruction being given. Please include relevant samples of multi-camera or tutorial editing work with your proposal.

Hello, we're a motion design studio called BIEN. Our focus is inclusive design/animation. I am looking for someone who is well versed in using Descript to edit some social media clips from our "Founders Interview". I recorded a 1.5 hour conversation with me, our sales rep and our creative director discussing our origin story, how we work, etc. There are two parts to the job: 1) Set up my Descript project in 9:16 format so I can edit in the future. I need to put each speaker (3 total) on a separate layer, and ensure auto multicam is functioning properly. I also need a quick tutorial on how to use layouts, as we'll create a custom layout for future use. I will use Underlord to edit, as well as edit manually. 2. Edit 10 short clips, under 2 minutes apiece. The goal is to create content that show our target audience who we are, what we believe in, and how we work. You can choose clips that would be most interesting to creative directors, producers and marketers who would potentially hire us. I've attached the interview questions to give you an idea of the content we covered. Ideally this can be done by end of week.

Upwork Video Editor Brief – Northampton Nursery (AOK Studios) Project Overview We're looking for an editor to put together three videos from a 3-day project we filmed for Northampton Nursery. The project follows the transformation of a residential backyard as the crew excavates the space and installs a new flagstone patio. This edit should feel clean, polished, and professional while showcasing the craftsmanship and transformation of the project. Storytelling is important, but pacing should stay engaging throughout. Footage includes: Sony A7S III footage (S-Log) Drone footage 3 days of coverage Before, during, and after construction Deliverables 1. Website Video (30–60 seconds) This is the primary deliverable. The goal is to showcase Northampton Nursery's work in a way that builds trust with potential customers visiting their website. The edit should tell the story of the project from start to finish: Establishing drone shots Before shots of the yard Excavation Crew working Installing the flagstone Detail shots of craftsmanship Finished reveal Final hero drone shots Focus on smooth pacing, clean transitions, and making the project feel premium. 2. Before & After Hype Video (20–40 seconds) This video should focus almost entirely on the transformation. Think: Strong before shots Quick progression through construction Dramatic reveal of the finished patio Impactful pacing Music-driven edit The transformation should be the hero of this edit. 3. Social Reel (15 seconds) Creative freedom. Use whatever moments you think make the strongest short-form piece. Could focus on: Satisfying construction moments Drone reveals Equipment Stone placement Quick transitions Before & after moments The goal is simply to create something engaging that performs well on Instagram. Editing Style We are looking for edits that are: Fast paced without feeling rushed Clean and modern Story driven Premium Natural color grading Strong use of sound design Music that builds energy Please avoid: Overused transition packs Excessive motion graphics Flashy effects Trend edits that won't age well Less is more. Color Color grade all Sony footage. Match drone footage so everything feels cohesive. Keep colors natural and vibrant. Audio Please include: Sound effects throughout Ambient construction audio where appropriate Music that fits the pacing Audio should help sell the project rather than overpower it. Captions No captions are needed. Export Requirements Please provide: 4K export 1080p export if possible H.264 (.mp4) AOK Editing Standards At AOK Studios, we prioritize storytelling over flashy editing. Every shot should have a purpose. Keep clips moving, but don't rush important moments. Build toward the final reveal, maintain visual consistency, and let the transformation speak for itself. Pay attention to shot selection, pacing, music, sound design, and color grading to create an edit that feels polished, intentional, and professional. If you think a sequence could be improved by rearranging shots or trying a different structure, we're open to creative input. We value editors who can elevate the footage rather than simply assemble it.
