Lead YouTube Editor (Opportunity to Grow into Executive Producer) Please read this entire posting before applying. We're not looking for someone to simply edit videos. We're looking for a creative partner who wants to help build a media company. We're building a premium founder-led interview show about careers, leadership, opportunity, and the conversations that change people's lives. Every episode is designed to become a long-term asset that builds trust, authority, and impact—not just another video uploaded to YouTube. If you love YouTube, obsess over storytelling and audience retention, and want to grow with a brand from the ground floor, we'd love to meet you. Before You Apply Please read the attached Creative Playbook before submitting your proposal. It explains: The vision behind our show What we're building over the next several years Our editing philosophy The creative standards we expect How we think about YouTube, storytelling, and audience retention What success looks like in this role The playbook isn't a list of rules—it's a look inside how we think. We're looking for someone whose creative instincts align with that vision. About Us The Excellence Factory is the media company behind Dr. DéRecco Lynch—higher education executive, speaker, author of The Invisible Interview, and host of Outta Line. Our mission is simple: We help ambitious people gain access to the relationships, opportunities, and conversations most people never know exist. Through interviews with executives, entrepreneurs, creators, athletes, and industry leaders, we're building one of the most compelling interview shows focused on careers, leadership, and opportunity. What You'll Do You'll lead post-production for the show, including: Editing long-form YouTube interviews into polished, high-retention episodes Creating YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikToks, and LinkedIn clips from every episode Crafting pacing, sound design, motion graphics, captions, and visual storytelling Organizing project files and media assets Collaborating on thumbnails, hooks, and overall creative direction Bringing ideas that make every episode stronger As we grow, this role has the opportunity to evolve into an Executive Producer position with greater creative ownership. Who You Are We're looking for someone who: Has edited professional YouTube content Understands audience retention, pacing, and storytelling Knows how to turn a 40-minute interview into compelling long-form and short-form content Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told every creative decision Communicates clearly and consistently Delivers high-quality work on deadline Wants to help build something—not simply complete freelance projects Bonus if you have experience with: Motion graphics Thumbnail design Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve Podcast or interview-style editing Our Standard We care far more about making one exceptional episode than publishing four average ones. We're building a library of content that people will discover for years—not just content that performs for a weekend. If you're the type of editor who watches YouTube and instinctively thinks, "I'd cut this differently," you'll probably fit right in. Hiring Process We hire on the work—not the proposal. To apply, please include: Links to 2–3 YouTube videos you personally edited Your exact role on each project Your editing software of choice Your typical turnaround time for a 30–45 minute interview In a few sentences, tell us what stood out to you from the attached Creative Playbook and why you'd be excited to help build this show. Finalists will complete a paid editing test using one of our real episodes. We'll provide the footage, our brand direction, and creative expectations. We're looking for storytelling, retention, and creative judgment—not just technical editing. Details Compensation: $25–45/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Part-time to start, with long-term growth opportunities Location: Fully remote Start Date: As soon as we find the right person If you're looking for another freelance editing gig, this probably isn't the right fit. If you're excited by the idea of helping build a world-class interview show and growing into a long-term creative leader, we'd love to hear from you.

We are an established, high-end luxury real estate brand seeking a talented, detail-oriented Video Editor to handle our long-form video content pipeline. We are stepping away from standard property walkthroughs to produce strategic, educational, and high-level market content. Our immediate need is to edit a premium Video Sales Optimization (VSO) video and a collection of curated YouTube scripts we have ready to shoot. This project has direct potential to evolve into a permanent, weekly part-time retainer as we launch a regular luxury podcast, development reviews, and neighborhood spot-checks. What You Will Be Editing: Long-form YouTube videos and VSOs (typically 8 to 15 minutes). High-quality, talking-head footage paired with a pre-written script. Seamless overlay cuts utilizing architectural renderings, neighborhood b-roll, drone footage, and premium stock media. Your Creative Responsibilities: Elegant Narrative Pacing: Clean, intentional cuts that maintain viewer engagement without resorting to chaotic, flashing, or "hype" editing styles. The tone must remain sophisticated, authoritative, and smooth. Premium Motion Graphics: Implementation of clean, minimal lower-thirds, elegant text callouts for key data, and high-end title cards. Color & Audio Mastering: Professional color grading to ensure a warm, high-end aesthetic. Crisp audio mastering—removing background noise, balancing voice tracks perfectly, and layering subtle, premium background music. Platform Deliverables: Deliver the main high-resolution horizontal cut for YouTube, plus 2–3 vertical "hooks/shorts" extracted from the main footage for social cross-promotion. Required Qualifications: Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content, podcasts, or corporate brand videos (Real Estate or Luxury Brand portfolios are a massive plus). Expert-level mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. An eye for luxury aesthetics—understanding how music selection, minimalist text layouts, and steady pacing establish brand authority. Excellent communication skills, respect for deadlines, and a collaborative mindset. To Apply: Please submit your portfolio. Crucial: Include links to 1 or 2 specific examples of long-form, talking-head content or corporate/luxury brand storytelling that you have personally edited.

This is not a traditional social media manager role. I am the founder of a relationship-focused company and the author of a book. I do not need help generating ideas. I need help capturing, organizing, and publishing ideas that already exist. The right person is an excellent listener, interviewer, editor, and organizer. What You'll Do Meet with me briefly via Zoom one to two times per week (15–30 minutes) Record and transcribe conversations Identify themes, insights, quotes, and content opportunities Turn conversations into LinkedIn posts, social content, newsletters, articles, and other assets Schedule and publish approved content Build and maintain a content library Extract content from existing materials, including books, notes, recordings, and prior content What Success Looks Like I should not need to sit down and "create content." Instead, you should be able to listen to a conversation and identify: Social media posts Newsletter topics Quotes Story angles Video concepts Long-form content opportunities Your role is to extract and organize existing intellectual property, not invent a new brand voice. Who This Is For You may be a: Editor Interviewer Journalist Podcast producer Researcher Content producer Thought leadership assistant Who This Is Not For This is probably not a fit if your primary focus is: Branding Graphic design Canva Content calendars Creating an entirely new voice or message Important I am not looking for someone to reinvent my message, rewrite my philosophy, or create a new brand identity. I already have a book, a defined point of view, and more content ideas than I can publish. Your job is to identify, organize, extract, and distribute existing ideas while preserving the original voice and intent. Think editor, producer, or interviewer. Not creative director. Application Please answer the following: A founder spends 15 minutes discussing a business challenge. How would you turn that conversation into multiple content assets? Tell me about a time you turned a conversation, interview, meeting, podcast, or transcript into content. Why is listening more important than writing in this role?

About us We're NOVOS — a science-first longevity company built by scientists from Harvard, MIT, Columbia, Duke, and Yale. We make supplements and biological-age tests that help people stay themselves for longer. NOVOS Core is the first formula built to target all 12 mechanisms of aging at once — patent-pending, based on 400+ studies, and the only supplement shown to extend lifespan in aged mice by nearly 20%. Our category is loud, exaggerated, and visually noisy. We're the opposite: restrained, rigorous, human-first. We're looking for an editor who understands that restraint reads as premium — and who can still stop a thumb mid-scroll. The role You'll own video production across YouTube, social (Meta, Instagram, TikTok), and web. That means both: • Long-form — founder content, science explainers, customer-story features, podcast-style cuts • Short-form — vertical hooks, ad creative variants, organic social, and cutdowns repurposed from long-form This is an ongoing engagement with ad-hoc project requests on a weekly basis — some weeks a single hero edit, some weeks a batch of short-form variants. We need someone reliable, fast, and self-directed enough to turn briefs around without hand-holding. And this isn't a pure editing seat. We want someone who thinks like a marketer first and an editor second — someone who understands buyer psychology at each stage of consideration, and can build creative that moves a viewer from curious to convinced to customer. One standard that runs through everything we make When we talk about our products, we say things no other brand could say. If a competitor could swap their logo onto our creative and run it unchanged, we've failed. "Backed by science" is a line anyone can steal. "The only supplement shown to extend lifespan in aged mice by nearly 20%" is ours alone. You'll be expected to reach for the specific, ownable proof point every time — not the generic wellness gloss the category drowns in. What you'll actually do • Cut long-form founder and educational content, then atomize it into short-form across channels • Build top-of-funnel hooks that lead with emotional truth, and mid-funnel creative that leads with proof — clinical charts, press logos, credibility overlays • Produce multiple creative variants per concept for A/B testing: different hooks, different opening frames, different pacing • Turn real customer before/after stories into scroll-stopping features Hold a consistent visual system across every format: clean, editorial, science-supported, never gimmicky You're a strong fit if you • Have a reel showing both long-form storytelling and high-performing short-form • Understand what makes people buy — you've made creative that converted, not just creative that looked good • Know the difference between top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel creative, and can name why a hook works • Have worked with (or aspire to the standard of) premium, considered brands — Apple, AG1, Seed — not typical supplement-ad energy • Can take a rough brief and return something sharper than what was asked for • Are fast, self-directed, and comfortable owning production end-to-end Bonus points • Experience in health, wellness, longevity, or DTC supplements • Comfort with claims-sensitive content — our copy is FDA/FTC-compliant, and video is no exception (we'll guide you) • Motion graphics / data-visualization skills for science explainers To apply Send your reel or portfolio. In 2–3 sentences, tell us about one piece of video content you made that drove a real business result — and why you think it worked. Applications without a reel and that note won't be reviewed.

Are you the kind of person who gets excited about big ideas in media and pro-democracy movements — and actually wants to help build them from the ground up? Beacon Media, a fast-growing North Carolina-based media organization, is looking for a creative, organized, and entrepreneurial contractor to help us launch our new syndication network as part of a Radio + Digital initiative. You’lll be helping us connect independent media outlets, community radio stations, and advertisers who care about reaching audiences across North Carolina — starting in Western North Carolina and moving across the state. You’ll work directly with Beacon’s leadership to research, design, and test a radio syndication initiative that can help sustain high-quality, community-driven journalism and storytelling. Beacon Media strengthens democracy by helping shift the narrative about who matters and whose stories get told and by whom. By focusing on rural, working-class communities and Black and Latino audiences, Beacon challenges the narrow frames that dominate traditional media coverage and elevates new and trusted voices. Free syndication of our radio content (also available in all digital channels and as a podcast) ensures that trusted, local stories get greater reach to underserved audiences across North Carolina. Beacon Media strives to connect people through shared experiences and advancing a broader, inclusive pro-democracy narrative that centers the voices and pro-democracy arguments too often left out of the conversation. What You’ll Do Help design and implement a system and framework to syndicate regular radio content, working in tandem to understand any advertising implications for that content, when applicable. Pursue and design a program for advertising what Beacon Media’s sponsorship network across radio, podcast, and digital platforms should entail. Research local and regional radio stations, identifying partnership opportunities and syndication possibilities. Work with to develop a system for ad placement and tracking. Support outreach to potential advertisers and partners, including preparing materials and presentation decks. Contribute ideas for how Beacon Media can amplify North Carolina voices and build sustainable media models. What You’ll Bring A working knowledge OR curiosity about North Carolina’s radio landscape — from public stations to commercial to local community outlets. Solid communication skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks. A mix of creativity and pragmatism — you like brainstorming but also getting things done. Comfort working independently and remotely while being part of a small, collaborative team. Why Beacon Media? Beacon Media strengthens democracy by helping shift the narrative about who matters and whose stories get told and by whom. By focusing on rural, working-class communities and Black and Latino audiences, Beacon challenges the narrow frames that dominate traditional media coverage and elevates new and trusted voices. We’re scrappy, mission-driven, and growing — which means you’ll have a real voice, real impact, and a front-row seat to the future of local media in North Carolina and, more importantly, to being a part of how a media organization can also be a part of building a stronger democracy. Time Commitment: Expected 3-5 hours/week (or more) with deliverables with opportunity for additional work if skillset applies.

I need assistance with preparing my book for distribution as an audiobook. I will record the book chapters on separate WAV files as per the attached 'Audiobook Recording Checklist'. I anticipate that there will be approximately 6 - 8 hours of recording time. I need an EXPERIENCED audio editor to do edit and master the files to ACX standards, at minimum. The task involves improving the audio quality to ensure clarity and professionalism. The ideal candidate should have experience in audio editing and be able to deliver high-quality results efficiently. See additional editing/production detail below. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - RMS loudness between -23 and -18 dBFS, - True peak below -3 dBFS, - Noise floor below -60 dBFS, - 44,100 Hz sample rate, mono, - MP3 at 192 kbps CBR, - 0.5 to 1 second of head silence, and 1 to 5 seconds of tail silence. To be included within contract: - If any delivered file fails ACX's automated technical QA check, the editor will remaster and redeliver that file at no additional charge. - Two (2) rounds of creative/technical revisions included for things like EQ preferences or pacing. NOTE 1: Stated hourly rate (below) is the (Per Finished Hour) PFH of final audio rate and is dependent on skill/experience level. NOTE 2: ACX measures true peak using 4x oversampling, not just sample peak — so please master with real headroom, not just skim under -3dB. • Each file should contain only one chapter or section — opening and closing credits go in their own separate files, and every file needs to be uploaded in chapter order: Opening Credits, Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and so on through Closing Credits. • The retail sample (what customers preview on Audible) needs to be 1–5 minutes long and should start with narration itself, not the "Chapter One" announcement or any music. • My target is -20dB RMS NOTE 3: RMS is measured across the entire file including silence padding, so a long tail silence can pull measured RMS lower. Please check final RMS on the exported file, not an intermediate mix.
