You'll work directly with our social team to transform raw footage, artist content, fan interviews, festival coverage, podcasts, trends, and original concepts into engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms. We’re a growing screen printing and embroidery company producing custom apparel including shirts, hoodies, hats, and more. I film all of our content myself using a Sony A7III. I’m not a professional videographer, but I capture plenty of good raw footage from inside the shop. I’m looking for a long-term video editor to help turn that footage into engaging 10–20 second reels for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. What We Used to Do We’ve created plenty of “montage” style videos—printing, embroidery, shirts being made, machines running, all synced to music. They look great, but we’ve found they mostly appeal to other printers and people already in the industry. We are looking for an Editor to help us create new longs and shorts from our new content ideas and from our list of several hundred posted shorts and pull from a long form video playlist of 120 videos with new videos every week. You must be located in the USA or Canada and be willing and able to conduct video conference calls for the interview process and collaboration. Samples of your work are also required. An appreciation and understanding of this niche is required. If you are offended by things like hunting activities then this is not for you. The Editor's pack looks like this: You will get a batch of raw footage, working script, voice narrations, outline, early title and thumbnail concepts for reference, and a short list of similar videos doing well on the related topic. Project Overview We took a two-week vacation to Bhutan. We hired a professional photographer who captured several hours of high-quality raw video footage. We want to transform this raw footage into a series of 5 distinct, visually compelling videos (around 5-6 minutes each) that represent different parts of our trip. The style will be audio voice-overs recorded by us describing the trip with video clips interleaved as we speak. Probably an atmospheric audio track behind, but likely no audio from the original videos. What We Will Provide * Pre-recorded voice-overs from us for each segment. These will provide the framework for the videos * Raw video footage. They are organized by sub-video where they'll be used and we'll tag which part of the video they can be pulled from.
