NC For The People is a nonpartisan pro-democracy nonprofit based in North Carolina. We are looking for a graphic designer to build a set of branded, reusable social media templates drawn from our democracy content calendar. This is a design-only project. We need 8 templates, one for each of our content categories: court decision anniversaries, constitutional amendment anniversaries, civil rights and movement anniversaries, heritage and awareness months, federal observances and holidays, election milestones, breaking news and legislative updates, and earned media or op-ed highlights. Each template should be delivered in 3 formats: 4:5 vertical at 1080 x 1350, 1:1 square at 1080 x 1080, and 9:16 story at 1080 x 1920. That is 24 assets in total. Instagram is our primary platform, and the same formats work for Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, and X. Please build the templates in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, whichever you recommend, and hand off editable source files. We also need a short usage guide, no more than two pages, so our team can swap text and images and export the right sizes. Our team handles all copywriting, scheduling, and posting.
