I’m looking for an experienced 3D animator to create an industrial product animation. This project involves redoing and improving a video that was previously created by another animator. The animation is for a technical industrial application, and the concept is difficult to visualize and communicate clearly. Because of that, I need someone who is not only skilled in 3D animation, but also highly communicative, creative, and detail-oriented. Native English-speaking is required for this project because the communication process will be very specific, technical, and nuanced. I need to be able to explain the product function clearly, and I need the animator to be able to ask smart questions, understand the details, and translate that into an accurate visual animation. This is not a project where “close enough” will work. The animation needs to represent the product and its function with a very high degree of accuracy. There is no room for error in the way the industrial application is shown. It is not incredibly complicated, however there is no "eyeballing it" in this, I need pixel-accurate precision. The ideal candidate will have: Strong 3D animation experience Experience with industrial, mechanical, engineering, or product animations Excellent communication skills Native-level English fluency Strong creative problem-solving ability Very high attention to detail Willingness to review reference materials and revise carefully Ability to take an existing animation and improve/rebuild it accurately Please include examples of previous 3D product, mechanical, industrial, or technical animations in your application. Also briefly explain your process for understanding a complex technical product before animating it. The final animation needs to be clear, accurate, professional, and visually easy to understand.

Project Title Interactive 3D Genomics Experience for Cancer Prevention Company Project Overview PreOncology is an oncology-led cancer prevention and early detection company. We are seeking a highly skilled 3D animator and visualization designer to create a visually stunning, interactive educational experience that helps patients understand how whole genome sequencing contributes to personalized cancer risk assessment and prevention. The experience will be used by genetic counselors during patient consultations and should feel similar to a combination of Apple product animations, modern biotech visualizations, and Google Earth-style navigation. Objective Create an immersive visual journey that allows a user to zoom seamlessly through multiple levels of biological information: Human Body → Whole Genome → Chromosomes → DNA → Cancer Predisposition Genes → Individual Genetic Variants → Polygenic Risk Scores → Integrated Cancer Risk Modeling → Personalized Prevention Plan The goal is to help patients understand how genomic information is transformed into personalized cancer prevention recommendations. Desired Experience Flow Whole Person A rotating human figure representing the patient. Whole Genome Transition into a visualization of the complete genome and chromosome structure. Chromosomes User zooms into individual chromosomes. DNA Chromosome unfolds into a rotating DNA double helix. Cancer Genes Key cancer-related genes become highlighted (examples: BRCA1, BRCA2, PALB2, ATM, CHEK2, TP53). Genetic Variants Zoom into specific variants within genes. Polygenic Risk Pull back to show thousands of small genomic contributors distributed throughout the genome. Integrated Risk Model Combine genomics with: Family history Medical history Lifestyle factors Biomarkers Imaging Personalized Prevention Show how this information informs individualized cancer prevention and surveillance strategies. Visual Style Premium and cinematic Scientific but approachable Apple / Moderna / Google quality aesthetic Dark background with elegant lighting Not cartoonish Suitable for affluent healthcare consumers Suitable for physician and genetic counselor use Deliverables Required: Storyboard Creative concept 3D assets Final animated experience High-resolution video export Preferred: Interactive version allowing users to zoom between layers Web-compatible experience Spline, WebGL, Three.js, or similar technologies Ideal Candidate Experience in: Medical animation Scientific visualization Biotechnology or healthcare projects Molecular biology visualization DNA, genomic, or cellular animation Blender, Cinema4D, Unreal Engine, Spline, or equivalent When applying, please include: Portfolio examples of scientific or medical animation work Estimated timeline Fixed-price proposal Technologies you would recommend for creating both video and interactive versions Budget Open to proposals. Quality and experience are more important than lowest cost.
